  1. I placed an order from gorgeousshop online (around 100 pound), and after few days since I received the dispatching email, i wondered where is my post, so i check the tracing history. I was shocked when i saw the tracing history and the proof of delivery on the Royal Mail website. Because it showed that the item has been delivered to my address at 7:52 am in the morning, and I was even shocked that the proof of delivery showed a signature which looks like the initial of my print name. The point is I never sign anything in print name, simply because im Chinese and i sign in Chinese characters not English letter. And they said they delivered in 7:52am in the morning when im definitely at home. There are two things are certain that my delivery address is 100% correct and I didn't get the delivery. I'm truly angry that how come the Royal Mail delivery guy let people fake my signature which should be illegal i supposed. So I called Royal Mail after I found out the fake signature and miss delivery, they told me anyone has the rights to sign the post for me which is normal :mad2:. And when i mentioned the fake signature, they said they can do nothing, but only do investigation if they get complain from the supplier (the website where i placed my order). So I contacted the website, they said they will call Royal Mail and stuff, and I never heard from them again. What can I do?
  2. I decided to purchase a PAYG 'phone on the Vodaphone website and pick it up from their Wakefield store. They promised to email me when it was ready to pick up- so far i've heard nothing. If I decide it's not for me, I want to be able to return it to another West Yorkshire store for convenience. I have emailed them THIRTEEN times for a simple answer to this question!!!! Due to a current disability, email is my only form of communication. They come back assuming that I have already bought a 'phone and/or that it is faulty, go on about contracts and one even asked for my details to verify my identity so that he could go into my account!!! They all had foreign names, so I assumed (as it happens correctly) that it was run by an overseas call centre who either can't speak English properly, are unintelligent or simply enjoy winding potential customers up! Their own customer forum stated that I should email them again and ask for a UK based manager to look into this for me. I did as I was asked and received further nonsense replies. After going back onto the forum to ask what to do next, I have been ignored. When I sent a separate email to ask why I hadn't received notification as to if it's in Wakefield or not, I received a very rude reply to the effect of "how should we know if you haven't supplied the order number, find it and ring us up (which they know I can't do)". I have replied with the order number. Is this a true representation of what to expect from Vodafone and should I use another provider?
  3. Hello, I am a student at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and I am currently carrying out research for my dissertation on the motivations behind online grocery shopping. With this research, I am interested in finding out the advantages and disadvantages of online grocery shopping according to consumers, and the motivations behind starting up online grocery shopping (for those who have tried it out). It would really be appreciated if you would post your thoughts on online grocery shopping - . I will use the findings from this forum to construct a questionnaire which will be posted online in the next month. I do ask however that any responses must be made by consumers between the ages of 18 and 65 and I can assure that any views will remain anonymous. Thank you for your help.
  4. Hi there, In may of this year i bought some fire fans from the above company. When they arrived we discovered that they were not made very well at all due to bad soldering (the fans are mostly made of metal) one of the fans (from two sets) broke the first time we used them and on another one of the links was very weak and therefore is likely to break. Therefore we complained to Trick Concepts and offered to return them to USA where the comapny is based as we wanted a full refund, a replacement would not do as we could see that they were just made badly. Each set had cost us over £100 each so we didnt think the product good enough to keep. Many emails passed between myself and the company until they realised that i was serious about sending them back and would require trick concepts to refund the postage to do so. In the end they agreed to refund the amount the fans had cost us this was at the begging of august. At the end of september i asked where the cheque they said they were sending had gone too. They have not replied and in a few days another month will have passed. what rights do i have? is there anything i can do to get this money back? warm regards kat
