  1. Hi all Whilst I have praised British gas , I am not happy wit there repairs etc department. I am a tennant and my Boiler has broken down, My Land lady has not had any joy, sorting this out for the last week. I spoke to BG and found out that even thou I live 30 minutes from the M25 she would have to pay their London prices. I wish some one could explain why the London prices ????
  2. Just having a pop at Cashplus MasterCard. Do not get me wrong , the card and service they provide are fantastic. I have been with them since 2012 and never had any issues. As i use their credit builder program and pay no monthly fee they give me an optional extra service called I-Advance. It is a sort of payday loan for a month If ever needed i have the facility for an instant approval on line for a credit advance up to £50.00 deposited into my cashplus account instantly. When i take this up i pay back £60.00 for a £50.00 loan in 28 days They have now increased that by £2.00 to £62.00 for a £50.00 loan It is not so much that they have increased it by £2.00, it is the fact they are starting now get greedy and behave like the other **** bag payday loan companies. But this I-Advance is an optional pre-aproved facility, you do not have to use it. Like i said, the service they provide as a pre-paid MasterCard is second to none
  3. Got a note in my car tax renewal about the new cashless charging for the dartford toll crossing. As an infrequent user how am I supposed to find a shop miles that will sell the new prepayments and I also note that you will be fined if you fail to pay. like the London congestion charge. Now, the Highways Agency are spending about £65m retarting the toll area when the simplest thing would be to do what the governemnt promised years ago and that was scrap the charge. The charge was supposed to be temporary until the cost of the engineering works had been recovered. This debt ended 2 years ago and the "temporary" charge was continued again as a temporary measure. Now they are spending an absolute fortune to continue the robbery of the users but want to make it harder to pay, possible to spy on every user by having a new database of payers and the vehicle they are paying for and worse than that actually having a charge at all when it cannot be justified. When do we get to be consulted on this? never. All too late for making a complint to your MP, the work will start soon and your MP will be booted out next year at the election so they arent going to get anywhere bringing it up in parliament anyway. Grr.
