I bought a Jacket from 'Trespass' of Glasgow online advertised for £24.99. When I received it it had a price tag on it of £19.99. I contacted Trespass who said they would investigate. I sent them a photo of jacket with price tag attached. I have had various emails stalling, asking for photo again etc. Do I have any legal rights here to claim the £5 difference?

Deposits made by private individuals and small businesses to any authorised firms are protected by the FSCS. The current £85,000 level of protection is being reduced to £75,000 (£150,000 for joint accounts) on 1st January 2016. If you're risk averse, it's worth moving the cash above £ 75,000 into other accounts so you'll always be protected. http://www.fscs.org.uk/what-we-cover/eligibility-rules/compensation-limits/deposit-limits/

From 5 December 2014 the blood–alcohol limit is going to be reduced from 80mg in every 100ml of blood to 50mg in Scotland. In practical terms this means that someone drinking alcohol and driving could be ‘over the limit’ to drive after a relatively small amount of alcohol. As the normal method of checking how much alcohol is in your system is a breath test you should be aware that the new limits for the breath test are 22 microgramms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. This has been reduced from 35 microgramms The new limits are only being introduced in Scotland. If you are in

We fell into arrears, or should I say, we paid half of what our monthly payment was, and we have been overpaying ever since. I did complain to FOS, and they upheld my complaint, wiping out charges etc, but the mortgage went up nearly a £100 more a month. We only were in so called arrears for 6 months, whilst I was off ill with no pay, that was in 2012. They refuse now after two years of full payment each month, to give us a better deal. We have a proven track record of payment before that period, and are back on track. Can we move the mortgage to another company/deal? They always say

Hello helpful people. First off a huge thanks to all who have posted here, you have helped this long-time "lurker" to a successfully upheld claim with the Halifax for my credit card PPI. My card has had a largish balance on it for nearly all of its 15 years and my average PPI payment per month has been £28, with many payments £30-£35. My situation is thus. The SAR came back with ALL statements and payment details going right back to the issuing of the card in June 1999, so there should be no guessing or averaging on the part of the bank. I painstakingly input all th
