About Me

  1. Customers have 30 days in which to switch following receiving notification of the increases. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/bills/article-2222478/TalkTalk-hikes-line-rental-3-1-SECOND-rise-months.html
  2. This is their second increase this year. Other increases are also announced.Customers unhappy and wanting to switch have 30 days after receiving notice to do so. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/bills/article-2222478/TalkTalk-hikes-line-rental-3-1-SECOND-rise-months.html
  3. Hi, yesterday I parked my car to pick up a box at a friends flat. I parked on the street and could see that there was a single yellow line but it was all broken, gaps missing where roadworks had been done so I thought nothing of it. Dropped the box off to come out to see a warden taking pics of my car. On the ticket It says I was observed from 11:12 to 11:14. That would be literally how long I was parked there. I have taken a video of the road markings. There are numerous breaches in what I believe are the regulations in so much as No T bar at the end of the single white line.

  6. Hi, I got a ticket last sunday for parking on a single yellow line. I thought i would be ok because there was a sign saying "no parking mon-sat 8am-8pm" or somthing along them lines. I have attached a picture of the sign i mean. Also it says on the ticket i was observed for 7 minutes only. isnt there a 20 minute loading time on single yellow? Thanks for the help Jon

  8. Hello Caggers, I hope you can help me find some information which will assist me with my PPI mis-selling claim against Direct Line personal loans. I understand from the FSA findings that 22 firms’ financial incentive schemes have been found "wanting" - my interpretation, not their's. My question is does anybody know if Direct Line Financial Services personel were insentivised or rewarded by way of a bonus or commission for selling PPI in 2003 when my loan was taken out. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks DP.

  10. I've had cable for years and none of it shares anything from BT. I swapped over after they put a pole outside our house that served only us and didn't give any prior warning of the work. I want to remove the wire that crosses the front garden and the entry point. Can I do this myself or do I have to ask BT to do it? I don't have any contract with them. Thanks

  12. Hello all, I parked on a yellow line yesterday (4th June) and was issued a parking ticket. Although the sign said Monday to Saturday, I was always under the impression that it was OK to park on a yellow line on a bank holiday. This seemed to be the case for plenty of other cars on the same street as well. I've taken a look at the council's website and it turns out that this is a common myth... The only part that seems to be in my favour is that the traffic warden was definitely in an unmarked vehicle and possibly plain clothed (I'm not entirely sure). Do I have a case here or sh
  13. Hi there, I was parked on a yellow line on FARRIER STREET NW1 while I was getting a hair cut. I specifically asked my barber to cut my hair so that I could see my car at all times. When I saw the officer approach my car I immediately ran up to him and said please stop don't give me a ticket and he responded saying he had already processed it, as his motorbike was parked across the street and he was writing everything down. I didn't see him from the barber shop so I didn't know that was happening. But then he said he felt bad as I was just there watching the car too, so then w
