I was running a business with my ex-business partner, and i decide to withdraw my share in Feb, due to personal reason, and he agreed to buy off them from me. an shareholding agreement was signed, the total amount needs paid in two installment, i received first payment on time (within a week of signning the agreement), and he failed to pay me the second on the assigned date. i made e-mail communication with him, he did reply me but without clear date and proposal in making the replyment. I asked him to make half the amount due, and rest in one month time, and he didnot even respond. i am thinking to take legal action, however, i would like to write a strong letter before action first, anyone could help me with this, or any advice in pursuit this matter is very much appreciated.

First Direct have sent these in response to CCA request. They may well be genuine scans of the front and back of an original document. They have the same "Folder" reference at the top of each page (removed) and have "Page 1 of 2" and "Page 2 of 2" (although the terms are only a subset of those on a separate document, referred to at the beginning.) It doesn't look like it was properly executed - just "Agreement executed" in the box with no date. The date stamp did have a full date on it but it just says "Received", not "Approved" or "Executed" like others I have seen. Anyway, assuming they are both from the same original document, does this form an enforceable agreement? Some views would be helpful please as I'm being pestered by Metropolitan now.
