  20. Good morning everyone! My partner has had recent contact from this shower, who are acting on behalf of HSBC. A while ago, my partner opened a bank account with HSBC. He admits to running into an overdraft of £200, and, because he panicked, has ignored a number of letters from them trying to resolve it. He realised he couldn't ignore it any longer when a text message came to my landline for him, and I happened to pick this up, and asked him about it. he did telephone them, and spoke to the ethereal "Chris", who said that, if he coughed up instantly (there's no way h
  21. Greetings all, It's been a while since I've posted on CAG seeing as I thought I'd sorted myself out. today I got home to find a brown letter from Northampton It's a claim form from Lowell for a Vanquis debt for £450 + court fee + legal costs. I don't recall having a Vanquis card and it's been some years since I've even used a credit card. I'd like to dispute this in full. Is the first step to ac
  22. Hi I've just received through a county court claim form from ukcps. I currently pay and have done for a while £85 per month to park in a private Carpark for work. It was owned by the shopping centre but was then taken over and we were issued permits that we had to display. On the day I got the fine my permit had blown onto the foot well so I sent a letter to ukcps and stated this. They have carried on with court proceedings even though I have my receipts for paying every month and now I have no idea how to appeal this online but refuse to pay the £175 they are now aski
  23. Hope this post is in the right place.... My ex hubby is paying Arrow Global/Restons for an old debt. It went to court and he was served with an AOE but he agreed a lower payment of £15 per week by DD instead of the £30 taken from his wages. He has been paying this for a couple of years now, in the last 6-8 months he has missed about 4 payments so they are enforcing the AOE. He has moved jobs and they sent the request to his old employer but obviously as he is no longer there the courts have sent a letter to his home address with the form N56 to complete. As he i
  24. Hello. I've recently moved in with my partner. I am in receipt of contributions based ESA until end of Aug. My partner is self-employed. I rang DWP to notify them of my change in circumstances and was told they would send me an ESA3 form as they just needed my partner's details on record. (I presumed name and date of birth etc.) I've received the form and it's 49 pages long!!! I rang DWP to see which parts I needed to fill in as there was only a change of address. After waiting over half on hour I managed to speak to someone who said I had to complete the whole form. Surely this can't
