Got a APNR notification from parking eye - will fight this as genuinely I did not see any signs,. I have taken video and photo evidence of the sight and there is no visible signs stating parking restrictions on entry. This is a huge retail carpark where there are signs dotted around on walls and high level posts (10ft). When I entered the car park there was an immediate space to my Right hand side which I parked In. At this point there was no signage around and I Went and did some shopping. I met a friend After Buying goods in Tesco (With a ProvenReceipt, Time 11:37A.m.) We had lunch and I then went to the petrol station Which is on-site but i had Forgotten To buy some something And went back and bought Again in Tesco (Timed receipt 14:16 p.m.) The ticket says I left the car park at 14:24 PM. On returning to the car I saw the parking signs as i walked through the actual carpark for the first time, got some petrol and left the premises. I then had an after thought and feeling very cheated , decided to turn the car around, went back and parked again and took photos to show exactly where I was parked. (I believe this can be a cause of 'double dipping"- I will mention it in my appeal as i do not believe i was parked for all that time. Any tips would be helpful my thoughts are that the signage was solely on clear even though there are plenty of signage in other areasI was not looking for car park signs after I had parked.And also disputed in the time I was actually parked compare twoOn site.I have completed the details belowPlease let me know you your thoughts. Where exactly Woodfields Retail car park , Bury lancashire (retail shops Tesco, next, Sports direct etc) For either option, does it say which appeals body they operate under. I am the owner of a car and my wife the driver. On 31/03/15 my wife met her friend on for a meal one evening and parked side by side with her on what they thought was a free car parking space at the side of the Croma Italian restaurant in Prestwich , Manchester. neither of them saw any signage and plus it was about 7:30pm in the evenings wasn't expecting to pay parking. Apparently there were signs according to excel? After now numerous letters from excel parking, zenith, rossendale (all ignored). We have a letter from BW legal - a final notice saying that as i have ignored the last letter offering a discount of £80 they now have been instructed to commence proceedings in county court if i do not pay with 10 days of the letter date . The letter is dated 9th may 2016 and I received it on the 14th may. The letter states i have to pay £54 excel costs plus £100 fine. - Remember i am not the driver (I'm the owner). I have never corresponded to parking charges before and they always stop after a year or so but these seem more "legal" and possibly I'm now entering a reality whereby they will take court action? Q. has anyone had this "final notice" letter and when or how did you deal with it?

I have just received a PCN for "Being In Bus lane During Hours Of Operation" on 8th Jan 2016. I don't dispute that I was in Bus Lane but what I do have an issue with is I did not know when the hours of operation were. I turned left from Redvales Road in Bury onto the main road towards Bury and was immediately in Bus Lane. I was going to post a link to to Google Streetview but have not posted 10 times so cannot There is bus lane to the right in same direction about half a mile to a mile away which has hours of operation of 7am to 10am and 4pm and 7pm and I thought it was in same times. Turns out I was wrong and hours of operation are 7am to 7pm (but the sign is on main road to right of junction!!) Now on main road there was a car turning right so I stayed in bus lane and then as soon as I went past the other car I moved into the non bus lane as I was turning next right. Do i have any grounds to appeal or should I have known immediately that because I had never seen any signs stating hours of operation that I should have not gone into bus lane at all? I cannot attach a copy of PCN as i have not posted 10 times. Thanks in advance Stephen Fisher

This is the claim which succeeded against LegalCare – although the judgement remains outstanding and unsatisfied. If you read the claim form, you will find that it is same very familiar story. According to LegalCare they have any tens of thousands of satisfied customers. It is obviously a very nice little earner. However, on the basis of the stories that we see around the Internet and the stories that we have received on this forum, and on the basis of the legal actions which have been conducted against LegalCare, we would not recommend them and we would warn everybody to stay well clear. Quite frankly you're likely to find that the advice given on this forum – completely free of charge – will be just as good – maybe better – probably far more practical – and based on people's real-life experience. The claim form has been redacted to protect the identity of the claimant. The claimant is not aware that we have obtained this claim form and that it has been posted on this forum. However, it is a public document and a County Court judge authorised its provision to us. We are trying to contact claimant to invite him to come onto this forum. However, if you happen to know somebody in the Bury area who has sued Legalcare but has been unable to get their money back through enforcement of the judgement, please alert them to this thread and invite them to come onto the forum.

There is an unsatisfied judgment recorded against ASKA PROFESSIONAL LTD MARITIME HOUSE, BASIN ROAD NORTH, PORTSLADE, BRIGHTON, BN41 1WR At BURY Court claim no. 3QZ17285 dated 24/04/14 £253 Aska Professional Ltd trade as Legalcare. They may trade under other names as well. We don't know. It may be that this judgment is not connected with Aska's Legalcare activities but the fact that the case was transferred to bury rather than Aska's local court in Brighton suggests that the claimant was an individual - not a business. We would be very interested to receive information as to the circumstances of the case and why the judgment has not yet been enforced.
