About Me

  1. I traveled from Scotland to Wales to move my yacht back to Scotland to use it as accomodation to start a new job in Scotland because my house is too far away from the job but i was stuck in Wales in bad weather and carrying out storm damage repairs for a few weeks. The job centre had told me when i get to Wales to fill in an ES90 form and i could be able to claim money but after the form was faxed to Scotland they replied back saying my money was being cancelled for 4 weeks and never gave me a clear answer WHY. After 4 weeks in Wales the weather turned good but i had ran out of savin
  2. Hi, I am looking for help and/or advice please! I was towed away in Camden, Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 16.35 a.m. I parked my car on a single yellow line in Prince of Wales Road at 15:50, in front of the car, which was already there. I checked for signs and couldn’t see any restrictions. Prince of Wales Road on this side did not have any signs. Only one I could see, was at the corner between Prince of Wales Road going right to Haverstock Hill, towards Belsize Park. This sign restricted parking on single yellow line on Saturday, between 9:30 am -1:30 pm. There was lot’s of parked cars on
  3. I have just read the dreadfully sad news posted by BankFodder that Martin3030 passed away earlier today at just 54 years of age. I joined this site back in 2007 and have posted over 5,000 posts. Martin joined a year earlier and has made over 55,000 posts !!! As any regular on here will know, it takes a lot of time each day to respond to queries and from the number of posts made by Martin, it is clear that he DEDICATED most if not all of time to assisting people on this site. What a great person. I will certainly miss him. More here: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum
  4. Hi, Just after some advice on this one. Will try and keep it simple Received a letter saying that I received £500 to much in holiday pay and that I needed to pay it back. The mistake is due to the fact that I reduced my hours and subsequently they reduced my holiday entitlement without me realising. I never signed a new contract when I reduced my hours. I know if it was an over payment I would have no choice to own up and pay it back straight away. You can argue that the same principle applies that I should have realised I woudnt be entitled to the the same holiday

  7. Hello, I'm in a really difficult situation. I am currently on benefits, I have a child and I have to go back to Italy for a while (personal reasons), I don't know if I will stay there permanently, but when I arrive, I won't have any financial resources straight away. I will have to find a job, etc. and with a young child is not going to be easy. I am thinking about not notifying the dwp, hmrc and housing benefit/ctax benfit of my leaving the country, so I have some means to start with. If I don't do it, I won't be able to survive. I know is not I nice thing to do, I am a honest person, bu
  8. Ive got an issue Ive stop in Shell garage to call Breakdown company because i had flat tire. Police arrived (someone called from public) and i was arrested for drink driving. Green flag subcontractor ON TIME arrived but i wasnt there. According to them police instructed them to take my car away. So i made a complaint to Essex police. They had investigated and Inspector called me to tell me that police didnt instruct anyone to do it (car had MOT,TAX and insured). After many calls i was told to pay the fee for towing away my car. I was shocked how it c
  9. What a shame, a strapping 6ft 5" and 300 pounds. Michael Clarke Duncan's fiancée says the Oscar-nominated star of The Green Mile has died while being hospitalised following a July heart attack. Publicist Joy Fehily released a statement from Duncan's partner, the Rev. Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, saying the 54-year-old actor died on Monday morning in a Los Angeles hospital after nearly two months of treatment after the July 13 heart attack. The 6ft 5in, 300 pound star appeared in dozens of films, including box office hits Armageddon, Planet of the Apes and Kung Fu Panda. Read more: http:/

  11. Hi Guys. I've been fending off Link for quite some time. I did manage to get one CCJ attempt struck out but they still hold 2 more accounts and they are not giving up without a fight. I had been paying to all 3 accounts until I found this site. They have sent me reconstituted credit agreements for both these accounts & pre contract application forms. Both accounts were from MBNA credit cards. I replied to these efforts by saying that while the reconstituted agreements may have satisfied the CCA request, they were still not enforceable in court. This is
