  2. I have just received three letters from the DWP saying that they sent me out an appointement on for the 3rd of July to attend a ATOS assesment, and that they wrote to me to tell me that I failed to attend. They are now saying my ETA has stopped as I am fit to work because I did not attend the meeting that I knew nothing about. This happened last year but I found out about it on the phone for a different reason and was able to attend. has anyone any
  3. I recently recieved a phone call about work I did last summer without telling the job centre. I worked for approximately 3 weeks. During this time i was on housing benefit and income support. I have been living away from my parents since july 2011 and am a full time student with no other income so i was entitled to these benefits. I moved out of the address of which i received housing benefit around july 2012. I have now moved into a place for which i get housing benefit. This tenancy started on 2 jan 2013. Between moving in and moving out i have been living at different friends housing every
  4. Hi, I've got a Tribunal date this Friday, 15th Feb. I'm not going to be able to attend as my daughter isn't well. She has a very bad case of the flu which in turn has affected her asthma. I have no one else to look after her and she is too young to be left alone. I wanted to know if the tribunal will make a decision in my absence seen as I have provided them will all the evidence and paperwork needed. I did want to attend in person but there is no way I am going to be able to now. Please help, I'm very worried about it all!! Thank you!
  5. Hi All Today I was sent home from work at 4.30pm after my boss gave me a letter telling me that I have to attend a disciplinary Hearing on Monday morning. The reason given is: "The allegation is that you have removed company property from a skip containing company property awaiting disposal. Two issues arise from this: 1. Possible theft of company property. 2. The non-traceable aircraft components entering the used part market." The letter says they consider this Gross Misconduct. They have said in the letter that they will not be calling any witnesses.
  6. Well i sign on Monday which is no problem at all and i am actively seeking work, i search for and apply for at least 4 jobs a week. However, i recently spoke to my advizor and they arranged for me to have an interview at a training course tomorrow which i do intend to go to. However, Tuesday through to Thursday i'm going to be busy with other things and only available after like 6pm. This has me worried as i don't want my benefits to be stopped all because i can't make this appointment with my advizor so i can tell her how things went and give her this form thing.
