Hello all, I could use an opinion on a recent incident, we are not sure how to proceed. My fiance drove me to a doctor's appointment on a Saturday morning, we parked in the surgery car park (just a minor check up at the GP). On exiting the car park we made a left turn and collided with another vehicle which was coming down the street. This was a narrow street, the kind with terraced houses and cars parked down the entire length on both sides of the road, with effectively one lane in the middle for both directions of traffic to share. Was shopping for pans today, opened 2 boxes to compare, repaced boxes but was distracted by kids, paid for a set with a credit card and came home. when i opened box i had repacked an extra pan. If i return the pan can i be accused of theft? they have CCTV i think? as i repacked the box. If i dont return the pan can they trace me as i paid by creditcard? I was an accident but really worried.

Hi I had an accident two days ago. It was my fault but the damage to the other car was minor so I suggested I could pay for it. Today the driver called me and said that he can have the car repaired for 150 pounds. It suits me, but is it legal and how can I protect myself against future claims ( medical claims ). Is there any form or a statement template I can use? ( Obviously it was a simple collision where speed of the both cars was very low and there is no way anybody could suffer any injuries ).

Hello all, I was hit by another driver a few months ago. At first he admitted liability (both to me in person and to my boyfriend over the phone) and offered to pay for the repairs (new plastic bumper). When we discovered that the front wing was bent and the cost jumped from £50ish to £400+ he changed his tune so I had to put a claim in to my insurance company. I need advice on car incident, its a bit of a grey area as to who is at fault. I was stationery in a car park and opening the car door to get out when a car nipped in to park beside me right at that moment.The other driver pulled in very quickly, when i had started to open the door it was safe to do so. It ended up with my car door denting the very corner of the other car's door right at the hinge, my car door was also dented at the edge.
