  1. I have just faxed Barclays and asked them if they wanted to settle before I sent the AQ which adds £100 to the claim. They rang me within 5 mins to say send it off and they will refund it in the end. So basically they are just stalling till the court date, as everyone has pointed out they would. My question what is the best way to get a quick court date???? sal
  2. Thanks Keri I did ask for it immediately. Lets hope it runs smoothly from now on. Did you have to pay for the warrant to be issued?? Sal
  3. Hi I have just completed the 5 step judgement by default on MCOL. I havent seen any threads that have done this before a defence has been put forward by Barclays. Am I right in thinking the court now write to barclays saying are you defending or not or do they have to accept a judgement made by the judge and its over. Does anyone know the time scale before a warrent can be issued..... or........... do barclays always defend at this point. sal
  4. Hi, Claim: £2541.88 + £120.00 Court fee I issued my MCOL claim form 24.1.07 and Barclays acknowledged on the 13th day. I am now waiting to receive their defence, which i assume (reading others threads) will come on the 27th day. I am yet to send them the spreadsheet of charges which i used to calculate the ammount of the claim. Should i send it to both the court and Barclays so they can not use the fact they havent received it in their defence? If so has anyone got any wording for the covering letter? Obviously the figure is slightly different due to more days passing.... does this matter?? I have not heard a peep out of Barclays since I went ahead with the court claim, is this normal??
