Kingmils wots the secret as I am at LBA stage ( collect fees and intrest ) and it expirys today. Rang yesterday and promised a letter by today or tommorrow at latest. I'll beleieve it when i see it.

Got my fingers crossed for you. I goin going to send another final letter before action giving them a further 7 days and then thats it I think i have been reasonable after that time.

My LBA expired today. And was told yesterday I would recieev something today or tommorrow. So I shall let you know how I get on. If this fsa ruling is right ( i am not entirely sure ) then i am wonder what to do next might have to send a lba giving them a further 7 days. Could you show where you found the 28 day ruling on the fsa site.

It sound ( so the wife suggest ) that they havent sent anything today. I guess It off to court I wonder if I will be the first to take mbna on in court of fees. Is anyone in litagation with mbna at the moment.

Some people have had success from Calling but in genearl they are not that helpful and will say they have x amount of days left to comply. I guess you need to sit on your hands for the time being.

Be warned MBNA seem to be very slow ( either that or stalling ).

I cannot believe that they havent even sent you copies of fees and dates. I really dont think MBNA now what they are doing, if i was them i would be extremely concerned. I am awaiting to get my fees out of the way and then will be pursue the fact the SAR was not met with. Dont get annoyed get even !!! We have the moral high ground and they will los in the end. Doesnt ot feel good to get your own back and be legal correct.

i managed to calculate charges from what they sent me, although it wasnt a complete SAR.

I guess I was luck with my SAR, although mine was recieved on day 39. I am still waiting for them to decide on my LBA which expires tomorrow ( Intercityman vs MBNA ). I am told they have a back log and that they are doing things in strict date order. I did get a goodwill payment from them that amounted to just under half with out intrest. Just awaiting the rest I am due now.

A call to them this morning ( Natalie ) suggests my paperwork is in the queue to be done today and I should hear tommorrow or Friday. I guess I ought to wait till Friday and see what the result is. Natalie informs me thatthey are doing things in strict date order. So if you get anything fast your very lucky indeed. It doesnt bode well for us at the moment thou. I wil keep you informed as and when I hear anything. MBNA are liars thou so I hold no faith in any of the promise. What narks me more is the hassle you get from them when its them chasing you for money. A rule for one and rule for another. Arghhhhhhhhhh

MBNA have until tommorrow morning. I fear reading other threads that I will be filling in the necessary paperwork, I am undecided whether to give them a further 7 days. I thinking not but want to research FSA website. If i find any relevant items i will of course post them. I am begin to wish I started this earlier as the MBNA thred looked like MBNA were rolling over before the expiry of LBA.

i assume you sent the prelim letter, and not even been sent a goodwill offer.

I am sorry MBNA are being totally unprofessional. I am concern that I am at LBA and they arent dealing with it either. Must be swamped. I have 2 days until expiry of LBA.

Sadly no, I think I am maybe in the same situation. Now you mentioned the FSA site I going to seive through it tommorrow. I know a FSA Compiance officerf for a insurance company.

Have you had the desired effect, or are you now having to pursue them through the courts.

It very difficult to understand what going on at MBNA at the moment. They have 3 day left on the Letter Before Action I sent , and they haven't not as of today done anything with it. I preparing to send them a final a further letter giving them 7 more days and in that time I will then proceed to court. Stick to the Step by Step rules thou and you will be ok.

Like you my first LBA expiry to the mbna on the 8th March. I think I am going to give them a letter giving them a further 7 Days and that it. MCOL here I come.....

Have you still not heard from the MBNA yet. The have 3 days to comply with a LBA i have sent. They suggest they are busy. I hope they not going to turn into a barclays bank.

Hi I am nearly at the same stage as you. I have 3 days to await a response fro the MBNA. But the dirty rascals have not re issued my card at expiry. Not really that bothered but it doesnt sound like they want my account anymore and are just keen to see me pay off what i owe. At least i hope this is the case.

Further Phone call from MBNA, telling me my expired card ( 02/07 ) will not be renewed. I asked if it had anything to do with my claim and guess what they said of course not. They say it to do with payments or late payment to be exact. Sounds all dodgy to me.... and possibel retailitry. What do you think I guess i am going to be messed around

A call to (Ian Stuholme) MBNA suggest they are swamped with these request now as we dont seem to be rolling over as they expected. At the time they informed me my claim was being worked on and would be out for the 8th March 2007. We will see if this is just a fobbing off exercise....
