  1. can I have my proper name back? ... shyte bag was surly only offensive to people with bowel problems and I feel the name suits me when I am in the mood
  2. During 2006-2007 we had a cash flow problem, it meant we didnt pay the last few installments of our council tax. we were called to the county court and agreed to make payments to resolve this, unfortunatly we were unable to make all of these either so we were issued with a liability order by the council in February 2007. At the bigining of April 2007 we resolved out cash flow problems and paid the outstanding balance for our council tax in full at the post office. The day after this we received a demand from Equita... I wrote to them explaining I had paid the outstanding bill in full direct to the council. Since then we have received many many letters from Equita all demanding payment and stating there agents have visited our house (my wife is semi disabled so doesnt go out on her own so we know they havent been anywhere near our house) and letters stating they are sending a removal contractor non of which have been realised. I have replied to a lot of the letters confirming the debt was settled and called the telephone numbers they give on these letters all to no avail. I have now given up with them they are just ignoring my corespondence, I assume they are continuing because they get no fee from ther council. is there any way I can make them stop ? is it dangerous to just ignor their silly letters ? thank you for any comments
  3. I found this ,,, hope its of use.. Once you have filed your claim, you need to send 2 copies of your schedule of charges, clearly marked with your claim no. + a brief covering letter asking for them to be filed with your claim to: The Court Manager, Money Claim Online Northampton County Court 21-27 St. Katharine's Street Northampton NN1 2LH Dear Sir/Madam (Your Name) –v- (Bank) Claim No: ******** Date Issued: xx/xx/xx Please find enclosed a schedule of penalty charges taken from me by the defendant, along with interest claimed at the annual rate of 8% pursuant to section 69 of the County Court Act. The interest in addition to the amount in charges equates to the total amount of my claim, namely £(AMOUNT). I respectfully request that the enclosed schedule should be attached to the particulars of my claim. Yours sincerely, Wait until you receive the Notice of Acknowledgement (not the Notice of Issue) from the court and then send a copy to the bank’s solicitors, since they are the ones who will now be dealing with your claim DG's details will be on page 2 of the acknowl. Dear Sir, (Your Name) -v- (Bank) Claim No: ******** Date Issued: xx/xx/xx Please find enclosed a copy of my schedule of charges relating to the above claim. (If, and only if, you are claiming overdraft interest on your penalties, also include this paragraph) I understand you have a policy of initially rejecting claims for overdraft interest. However, should this be the case after you have reviewed my claim, you should be aware that my claim for overdraft interest has been meticulously calculated and double checked. It only ever relates to the cumulative charges within the overdrawn balance of the account at the point that the overdraft interest was debited If it is that in your view the interest is not claimable, I am prepared to discuss this with yourseves and the judge in court. Yours sincerely, DG will most likely file their defence on or just before the 28 days. Then you'll get transferred to your local court. Then the nudges begin. So get the two letters off & then its a matter of sitting out the 28 days.
  4. Some of us don’t use our original registered names Freaky, because we had problems registering and lost our tempers and when it did get accepted we ended up with something almost objectionable
  5. Good evening all, apologies for the name it took me many attempts to become registered with CAG and unfortunately this name is the one that worked (oops.. I was getting a little agitated ). After many happy years with the Municipal Bank and then the Midland Bank my account was integrated into the Hong Kong and Singapore Banking Company and quite frankly they have proved to me over the years they have had control they are not the worlds local bank. They employ drones who are bound by the company "rule book" and cannot make decisions. Sound commercial decisions based on individual circumstances used to be the backbone of British banking and commerce, but that's my personal opinion and its up to me to prove it with the help of this brilliant site. Of course all of the above is without prejudice of any sort . Good luck to all my fellow "activists" Shy
