  1. i had to rent a tv last month as mine broke.i agreed a deal which was a £100 deposit and £50 rental for month.the company were supposed to take out £150 upon delivery, with the deposit refundable after a month.however they only took £15 from my account.obviously they missed a zero off.they picked up tv last week, gave me back my £100 and didnt say a word.so in fact instead of paying them £50,they gave me £85.but now im wondering if they realise say next month can they come and take money out my account or would they have to contact me first, and as the agreement is finished would i have to pay.
  2. hi all i'm currently out the country, and i neede to do a balance transfer from my mint card to my egg.so i thought id do it on the mint site.i did a balance transfer on friday morning.the site says the transaction is pending, which i thought was a bit strange.i,ve done transfers on egg and cap one which always go through the same day.ive sent them an email but had no reply.i wont be back till friday, and i need this to through urgently.just wondering if mint are notoriuosly slow or maybe its just an exmas delay.
  3. thanks for that,i have one more question about nco europe,i had a call from them, stating my wife had a debt with them.they wouldnt tell me what the debt was or the amount, but it was less than £50.after a few more questions i came to conclude it was a debt to paypal which was probably no more than ten pounds.i offered to pay the debt, which they said was ok,but they couldnt tell me the amount and it would be taken from my card,i of course said no way, they were incredible rude.they said id have to wait till my wife could pay.to me this company sound well dodgy,im just concerned they will start adding on all sorts of charges and i'll have someone come knocking for hundreds in a few months.any advice concerning nco would be appreciated.
  4. hi thanks for that advice,i am the additional card holder on 2 accounts.but she is the main account holder on all 4 cards.after doing what you suggest would i be liable at all.
