I received a "Privacy notice" in with my council tax bill. the part that I don't understand is. I haven't and wouldn't agree to any sharing of my information there is no check boxes on the bill or anywhere else to not agree to this. Has anyone anyone else come across this? and if so how did you opt out.

It would be down to the user's personal choice to add the 5% or not for legal advice therefore the site would still be free. But now even to donators. Receiving more funds wouldn't necessarily turn this into a profit making organisation. If you raised enough funds you may even be able to afford TV advertising for the site that would really upset with the banks. But back to my original point I think nona got more of the gist of what I was asking.

I was searching google for something completely unrelated and came across this site there is some really interesting stuff here. One thing that did make me wonder though your suggested 5% donation couldn't people add that to there claim as legal costs.
