The Nokia N70 is a very problematic phone, it has the latest bb5 software in it as do a lot of the newest Nokia phones. The problems that we as mobile phone repairers often see with this phone are, Mobile switching itself off, mobile resetting itself whilst texting, mobile white screening , and crashing whilst connected to the internet. Sometimes these issues can be resolved by flashing the phone, ie renewing the software with the latest version. Unfortunately though this is the case with a lot of the newer Nokia mobile phones especially the N series and also the Nokia 6280, especially the 6280,s that are on the 3 network. It is generally accepted by the network providers that if they have to repair the phone more than twice, ie on the 3rd time they must replace the handset. We are totally independent mobile repair outlets so therefore dont mind giving this info freely as we are not attatched to any of the networks!!

Anyway Asset Link took me to court in Cardiff, although i didnt atttend as i was not in the country and they have obtained judgement against me, however i have been able to move it to plymouth court for the 2nd Jan 07 in order for me to try and set aside judgement

Hi Folks, i have been reading this site with interest as approximately 14 months ago i stupidly signed up to 1 of these holiday points scheme things with sunterra whilst on holiday in Lanzarotte, I paid a £3000 deposit and then took out a finance deal with GE capital through Sunterra. Anyway to cut a long story short, i found out that basicly Sunterra had lied to me and the places that they offer are not just solely MEMBERS only as anybody could of booked on the internet, and at half the price basicly it was costing me, therefore after a lot of tooing and throwing with SUNTERRA i asked them to cancel my membership as they had lied to me. They refused but after a lot of perseverance they said they would suspend my membership but i would still have to pay my money to GE, well how stupid dp they think i am. They clearly know im right as they would not of agreed to suspend my membership else. Anyway i point blank refused to give any further money to GE and explained the circumstances, however they dug heels in and said TOUGH, you will pay. NO I WONT. Since then they have sold the debit to ASSET LINK who have obtained judgement against me and i now risk losing my house as i wasn't in the country when the court papers came through. I am in court on the 2nd of jan 07 to try and set aside judgement as i dont wish to lose my house and i dont want these LYING BULLIES to win, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP me and tell me what i can do if anything about these lying deceiteful companies. Hi can anyone please tell me if GE capital and ASSET link management are 1 of the same company, i have a very long story and nightmare scenario reference a holiday company which GE capital supplied the money for and once i found out i had been lied to i refused to pay the money, now GE capital have sold the debit on to ASSET link and they have made an order against my house, I am in court on the 2nd of January in order to try and set aside judgement as i wasn't even in the country when the court papers came through. Anyway GE capital are still sending me bills even though they have sold the debit supposedly to ASSET link, and they have taken me to court, i think both these companies are the same people but can anyone confirm this for me please, many thanks in anticipation Mike.
