  1. We do not have the option of being in a union, unfortunately,
  2. Just a quick question, I have today had a one to one Interview whereby I have been told that all office/managers/office staff titles no longer exist, they are redundant. However when given the job description of the "supposedly" new role the description is exactly the same, in other words exactly the same job, but with a different title. The reason for us having to re-apply for our jobs is we have been told that the office jobs have been restructured, but this appears not the case. Also I was told that at my one 2 one meeting/Interview there would be someone from HR, someone from Security, and my Boss, however there was only my Boss is this the correct? In my opinion the only reason for this change is to get rid of some office staff, as basically the have looked at the work load at each branch, and given an allocation of hours which the role should take, hence some office staff that say have been doing 30 hours, may see their role for exactly the same job but with an allocation say of 20 hours, so if they choose to re-apply, the role will now be for 20 hours instead of the 30 that they had been doing.
  3. here you go: VOA - Council Tax Homepage fill in the relevant sections, if you have lived in your property for more than 6 months you will get a letter back stating that you cannot appeal as you have lived in your property for longer than 6 months, however we will look into your banding, they send you a form with the letter, you have to fill this in and say why you think you are in the wrong band... I sent a covering letter listing all the 4 beds that were the same band as us....you have to show them the evidence... If you need a hand with anything I would be more than willing to help, either PM me or post on this thread.... The site is easy to follow... nanna
  4. I am in the process of appealing my Council Tax Band... We live in a 3 bed detached in a close, yet my next door neighbour and many others in the close have a 4 bed detached with a utility room (which I do not have) and they are all on the same bad as myself.... I was told it takes 8 weeks to make a decision, we have less than 2 weeks left... Very easy process though, I will let you know what the outcome is... Hopefully a refund will be due...
  5. You should of denied throwing the water over him.... Treat them like they treat us....
  6. I am in the process of having my council tax band reviewed, we live in a 3 bed detached house in a close, and there are 4 bed detached with a utility room as well (we do not have a utility) that are in band E which is the same as us... our next door neighbour has a 4 bed and is on the same band as us "E" the valuation office say they will make a decision within 8 weeks, we only have 2 weeks to go...
  7. sorry did not see that you had paid via pay pal, did you use your credit card with pay pal, if you did you could ring your CC and they will help you and you may get the money refunded from your CC... what was the item number or give us a clue as to what the title of auction was... nanna
  8. I am sorry that you have had problems on Ebay, but all is not lost!! If you go into your Ebay and click on items won, you will see the item that you have purchased... At the side there should be a drop down menu I think it will give you payment options there i.e the address where to send the cheque ect to... Did you pay by pay pal? how long ago was this sale? the other option is to get "sellers contact details" I am not to sure where the link has gone, but you can put in the Item number and you will receive an email with their details - not sure that it will give you the address but it will give you a contact number, then you could contact the seller by calling him/her hope this helps
  9. Are you saying your wife is being refused a break or she may not be able to have a break at the time she would like?
  10. PKea, I am sure that it is your contract, but just need to be 100% sure for when HR ring beck I have my facts right... I work for a massive company, but HR are always making mistakes, and are useless at following company procedures. It is quite amazing at some of the mess they get themselves in for such a big company... Good thinking I will give ACAS a call...(runs off to ring ACAS) Thanks
  11. Just a quick question in the hope someone will be able to give me the correct answer... I have been of sick from work for 7 weeks...I went back 5 weeks ago, however I was just browsing thorough my Employment Contract and noticed that the sick pay entitlement was different to what the company handbook quotes: Company Handbook 3 weeks full pay & 3 weeks half pay Employment contract 4 weeks full pay & 4 weeks half pay I have rang HR explained the situation and the lady said that I should take what is in my employment Contract but the company handbook should say the say same, which of course it does not:o She is going to get my contract out and get back to me. Now 1st of all which one should I be following? If HR come back and say we are going to change your contract to say the same as what is in the company handbook, can they do this? Just want to be ready for when they ring

  14. Hi Alen, Red Band is the original creditor and Lowell are the DCA, Red Band could have sold the debt on to Lowell or Lowell could be acting on behalf of Red Band, collecting the debt/payments for them. Hope this helps
  15. Milky, First and formost welcome. I would send the CCA and the SAR separate both recorded delivery... send postal orders £1 for the CCA and £10 for the SAR here is the CCA letter Dear Sir/Madam Re:− Account/Reference Number 4563210025897412 With reference to the above agreement, we would be grateful if you would send us a copy of this credit agreement. We understand that under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Sections 77−79), we are entitled to receive a copy of our credit agreement on request. We enclose a payment of £1.00 which represents the fee payable under the Consumer Credit Act. We understand a copy of our credit agreement should be supplied within 12 working days. We understand that under the Consumer Credit Act creditors are unable to enforce an agreement if they fail to comply with a request for a copy of the agreement under these sections of the Act. We look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully milkybarkid999 hope that helps
  16. That will do:D I will put a paragraph to pass it on to the relevant department should it be wrong Thanks
  17. diskmandave, I have been on that site, but there appears to be loads to choose from, I am not sure which one is the correct one
  18. Hi, Can anyone help or tell me what the correct address is to send a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to HMRC (HM Revenue & Customs) There appears to be loads of addresses, but I cannot locate the correct one
  19. If a CCJ has been issued there is no point in sending a CCA as the debt would have been proven when the CCJ was issued I am affraid... CCA does not apply to CCJ's that have been Issued.
  20. Raeline, I used to worked for Barclays 5 years ago I hasten to add (Credit Control) they sell the debt on for 5% yes 5% disgusting, so offer a very low settlement
  21. They (Halifax) will be getting a shake up when I take them to court for Fraudulent Activity on my Account, they have lied so much, that this week I am going to prove to them that I have an email attachment that they sent me in error, which shows all the evidence to prove that they are trying to cover up... Halifax if you are reading this, you had better think hard because you will not be able to hide any more...
  22. Ahhhh thanks stebiz, believe me I am nannamoon, I loathe paying the CCJ. I do have another debt going back to 1993 who claim that a CCJ was issued, but the Idiots claim that the CCJ was on my own admission, but they have just messed their chances up as they claim I sent the admission form form one address which I could not have done as I had moved from that address 3 months prior to the date they say the admission form was sent. I have just got hard evidence from the Council (we were in a Council property back then) that proves where I was living. I am now going to take them to court for unlawfully taking my money for 14 years and being untruthful by saying that they took me to court and they never.
