  1. Hi, Just wondering what I should be doing. Very briefly, I started the process of trying to reclaim my bank charges in January. I sent 3 letters, the last being the LBA. In April I recieved a £750 good will payment but nothing in regards to a letter from them about the good will gesture - it just appeared in my bank account Due to one thing and another I haven't had the time to do anything with this since and have been a bit slack. If I were to pick it back up again - where would be the best place to do it from. Should I send another LBA deducting the £750 from the total. Many Thanks
  2. I'll have a look. Thank you.
  3. At the end of February I sent the LBA and recieved a £750 "good will payment during April although I recieved no letter from Lloyds indicating that this was their intention. I haven't had time over the past couple of weeks but want to get back on top of this and continue this further. The amount is still some £1500 shy of what I want from them. Will the time I've left this make any difference, assuming that this is some sort of offer do I need to reject this with another letter (if so, is there a template) Thanks for you help
  4. Hello, For LLoyds Credit Cards, what address are people using to write to. Just about to send SAR off. Thanks
  5. I see what you mean. I'm not sure then. Is it ok to add a new months charges to the schedule of charges when sending the LBA ?
  6. Exactly the same letter I received. I didn't wait for the 14 days to expire before posting the LBA, as I read it you gave them 14 days to respond which they did so.
  7. Thanks for the reply - What's a CCA ? Cheers
  8. Just a quick update - 2nd Letter sent 1st Feb Reply recieved from Lloyds on the 8th LBA sent today
  9. Hello, I'm in the process of reclaming my bank charges on a LLoyds TSB account - at the LBA stage. Was just going to start the process of claiming back my credit card charges and then wondered about PPI claims. Can anyone offer some advice on this, I've had the credit card for years and don't remember signing anything although that's not to say I didn't. I was just wondering if I have the proverbial leg to stand on with regards to claiming it back, the total I'm guessing would be quite alot - it's varies between £20-£40 per month. If it can be claimed - would it be seperate claim from the charges or could they be bundled together. Cheers
  10. - getting there slowly. If and hopefully when I'm succesful in my claim, i'm sure i've read previous posts that you can have the money put into a different account. Where would you request this and at what stage would this be done, presumably it's inlcluded in one of the letters ? Not jumping the gun, just want to get this right
  11. What's the best address to send the letters to ? Cheers
  12. Thanks dollies01. Without meaning to sound daft, where do I get this amount from ? Just don't want to make any mistakes that's all. Thank you.
  13. I'm just about to send letter 2 - Preliminary approach for repayment. In the part where it says " I calculate that you have taken £XXXXX plus £XXX which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £XXXXX . I enclose a schedule of the charges which I am claiming with this letter " I've used the complex bank charges spreadsheet, where it shows me the interest on penalties on the charges & Interest tab. Is this the figure that included in the letter ? Also, I'll be sending it to; Lloyds TSB Bank PLC BX1 1LT Is this the best one to send it to ? Thanks
  14. Hello Everyone - Requested statements from Lloyds on the 4th January. Hopefully it all goes ok. Reading this forum has somewhat inspired me to start the proceedings I don't expect this is going to be easy but well worth it nonetheless.
  15. Hi, This is my first post on this site. Phoned the bank up yesterday and asked them for my statements (with the £10 taken), will take three days. Anyway - I'm sure I'll be posting here looking for some wisdom plenty more times along the path to recovering the scandalous bank charges - hopefully it all goes well Thanks
