  1. How are you claiming costs for preparing bundle etc? Where and when do you add this to your claim? Im always keen to squeeze more money out of them! Miss M
  2. Thank you so much everyone for the advice. I will be spending my weekend compiling my bundle and sending it special delivery on Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I will keep you updated on my progress (assuming I have no more questions Re the bundle!)
  3. Well the thing is it seemed clear enough in the beginning an i thought i had it sussed. I dont think its your thread as such bit more to do witht he reply from hagenuk where they said I do not print out the bundle as it is. They said I need to edit it first. I couldnt see what there was to edit except for the index! It seems to be as i orignally thought I print your very helpful bundle, add my personal docs and amend the index. As simple as that unfortumnately HagenUK confused me. Im sure it wasnt intentional! Bookworm please dont take it personally I think your thread is amazing and I dont know what I would do without it! As Karnevil said there is plenty info on the net but Im a complete novice and did not have a clue what the court were asking for exactly! Im much clearer now - sorry for being a bit slow! And one more question about this bloomin bundle if you dont mind is should I include a skeleton argument? My letter from the court simply says I must supply the following Copies of all documents upon which i wish to rely Statements of all witnesses, including parties upon whose evidence you wish to rely etc etc (I assume this is not applicable to my case) All original documents mustbe brought to the hearing Thanks again everyone!
  4. Thanks before I saw your replies I actually tried the number again and got through to a human being! In fact it was a very nice lady, she said they had not received notification of the court date but as soon as they did they would be in touch with me and took my contact number. Not quite what I was hoping for but at least it was positive! Thanks for your advice now i have to prepare my bundle which is proving very confusing! I have Bookworms template but i havent a clue what parts to include and what parts not to include! Do I include it all then add my correspondence and statments and obviously amend the index accordingly and add page numbers? Do i need a skeleton argument?
  5. Thanks yorkshiregrit, I did find Hagenuks response a little unhelpful because of course I read Bookworms post where the bundle is attached and of course Ive read through the forum to see what other have done! As helpful as Bookworms post is it does not say which specific parts of the bundle may need editing if any at all, it merely suggests you need to add personal docs to it? I have read through Bookworms bundle several times and find it quite daunting. Its hard to get my head around all the legal jargon and really i need to know if it would all be applicable to me? I am aware I need to edit things like the index and add page numbers and include my statements, correspondence and copy of claim on MCOL. Am I totally missing something here? i am usually an intelligent and bright human being but right now I feel inceredibly thick!
  6. Hi, I received my court date of 19th Feb. I began to look into putting together my court bundle. Its so confusing! I decided to try contact Barclaycard to see if they would be interested in settling before the hearing. I spoke to a very helpful lady who said they had not received the court date yet but as soon as they do they will be contacting me and asked for a contact number. Is this a good sign? Should I still start the slog of pulling together a court bundle?
  7. Hi Yes I did do the charges usin the spreadsheet before I submitted it on MCOL. I rang Mr Ruffhead and got straight through to him but I had hardly said 2 words and he told me to ring another number. I rang the other number and suprise suprise its an answerphone. Should i leave a message asking them to call me back?
  8. Thanks think Ill miss out the daily interest all together. Am i doing the right thing phoning? Or should I be patient and do my court bundle first? Bit of a scardey Cat and dont want to make the situation worse in anyway by coming accross as if I dont know what Im talking about!
  9. Thank you, I feel sick, I think its a bit of excitement as well as nerves..... My total charges are £349 plus interest which at the time of submission on MCOL was £64.67. I made an error with my daily rate interest. What should it be Im confused? Is it on the whole £349 or each individual charge? I would be so grateful if you could help me work it out. i need to be clear on what Im talking about. I am also claiming £250 compensation for distress. My argument for this is that the charges caused me difficulty in keeping up minimum payments and other credit commmitments and eventually led me into having to set up an IVA. So can you help with daily interes? Im not particularly bothered about getting this because it wont be much but I guess every little helps!
  10. Hi just come accross this thread - its great!! Congratulations to all who have beaten the bank! I have a court date for 19th of Feb for my Barclaycard Claim. Im trying to get my head around the court bundle and not having much luck! Im so nervous! I want to ring Adrian Ruffhead and see if I can get him to settle before the court hearing and before i spend hours sorting out a court bundle. I am sick with nerves though and so need some kind of guidance on what to say? Will I need to refer to legal jargon at all? what can I expect and how can i phrase my request? "Hi Mr Ruffhead, my name is xxx and we have a court date set for 19th of Feb. I am claiming back all unfair bank charges that have been applied to my account during 2004 and 2005. I am just wondering if you would be interested in settling this before the date of the hearing?" I need some encouragement Im scared!! Thanks! MissM
  11. Thanks I have printed off Bookworms doc. I will have a good look at it tonight. Its very daunting and Im not sure I fully understand it all! Thank goodness for the help here!! thank you for rescuing me from my panic attack!
  12. Thank you for that. I am gettting muddled up with my bundle now! Do I need to include a copy of my original claim form in my bundle? Does that mean i need a copy of my AQ in there too! i didnt take a copy of it, stupidly!
  13. "The claimant claims the repayment of unlawful bank charges for the period August 2004 to Cctober 2005 amounting to £349 for exceeded limit and late payment charges. The claimant also claims interest on this amount under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at the rate of 8% a year from August 2004 to October 2005 of £63.67 and also interest at the same rate up to the date of judgement or earlier payment at a daily rate of 8%" YIKES!
