  5. Barclaycards online statements only go back six months. I think I might complain to the Financial Ombudsman. It might not do any good but at least it will cost Barclays a few quid.
  6. I have made a request to Barclaycard for details of charges over the last six years. They have told me that the last six months of statements will be supplied for £10 under the DPA. However, statements older than six months are apparently kept on microfiche and not on a PC database so do not come under the act. So it will cost £3 per copy statement. Anybody, got any ideas how to get round this one?
  7. I have spoken to a solicitor and his advice was to write a letter to Lloyds requesting payment withing seven days or the balliffs will be called in. When I sued them I put my branch as the defendant so I have to send the balliffs to that address. If it comes to that, I will be informing the press and turning up myself. Anyone in the Manchester area who wants to come along let me know and I will PM you the details if it happens. I realy hope I get to send in the balliffs!
  8. Lloydstsb have rolled over without even putting up a fight. They didn't put a defence in against my claim so I obtained a judgement by default. Have won back just uder £2k of fees they have took from my account over the years. Now I have judgement can someone advise what I should do next. Do I wait for payment, do I phone them, write to them? There is an option on the moneyclaim site to issue a warrant, what is a warrant. I would love to send the bailiffs round, anyone know how long I have to wait to do that? I am surprised Lloydstsb rolled over so easily. I only claimed for four years of charges so now I think I will find out the charges over the other two years and go for them as well. Good luck to everyone taking them on!
  9. I have written to Barclay Card requesting details of all the charges put on my account over the last six years. They have written back saying that they will supply me with copy statements at £3 a go. Six years worth of statements would cost a couple of hundered quid. I remember reading about the Data Protection Act, could somebody just explain my legal position with regards to getting this infomation so I sound like I know what I am talking about when I write back. Thanks.
  10. My bank has issued a default notice to give me a certain number of days to pay a certain amount of money. They did this just days after I issued court proceedings against them. Coincedence? Anyway, I have paid the money requested within the time limit. Will this affect my credit rating in any way? Also, I have an agreed overdraft limit with the bank I am suing. Can they just cancel this agreement? Does anybody know what the minimum notice period is that banks can give to terminate an overdraft agreement?
  11. I have started a claim against LloydsTSB for just under £2k. They have until next week to enter a defence. I have just been looking in the Abbey National forum and seveal people have claimed against them and won. In almost all the cases Abbey have done the same thing: filed a defence, made an offer and then caved in just before the case gets to court. There are no examples in this forum of what Lloyds do. Has anyone took them on? What can I expect? I will keep you all updated with how I get on so hopefully others will know what to expect.
