well i received my statements and have decided to try the contractual rate with this claim prelim will be sent tomorrow

i still havent received my statements so i rang them today and was informed they were posted on 6ht february the guy said would be 5 - 7 days

my statements are at my local branch waiting to be picked up i shall collect them tomorrow

hi, their 40 days aren't up until 10th February . I will try calling them again tomorrow

Hmm well i got a statement through yesterday and i noticed that they had paid the £10 i sent in onto my account , so i rang them to try find out if i was getting my statements etc , however i was put through on some automated system to the debt collections side of things as my account is due for payment ... i paid it up so as it was no longer in arrears and was still informed i could not be put through to customer services as the payment takes a couple of days to clear . so .... i informed them i would be sending a letter

well i had a phone call yesterday from the Halifax , they started out offering me half the amount, then pushed it to £4000 to which i stated i have been doing my research and it's quite apparent that they're evidently paying people the full amount and so i would be holding out for at least £5000 . The same guy called back 5 minutes later to tell me that they are going to give me the full amount back - and they will be sending the form out for me to sign and complete so we have one happy bunny right here :D :D
