  1. Just a quick update. I sent my LBA off last week and have still heard nothing back. Getting all my court stuff ready so i slam in a claim on day 14. In total, i've worked out that, if it goes to court i will receive over £500 in interest! Heres hoping the Halifax are as incompetent as they seem
  2. Hi again all. Just a quick question. I'm preparing all my stuff for court in advance. The only problem i have is calculating the interest that i can claim in the courts. My question is, I don't have an overdraft on my account, nor have i ever gone overdrawn as a result of these bank charges. Do i just claim the standard 8% APR for each claim? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance Techno
  3. Hi everyone just an update. i received a letter, acknowledging my complaint today. They say that someone is investigating and will be back to me within 4 weeks. The question i have is: should i send the LBA when the 2 weeks notice is up? Or should i wait for them to process the complaint? Any help would be great Techno
  4. Will Do Lona. Already have the LBA wrapped up and ready to send to them on the 2nd January!!
  5. well...I finally received my statements from the Halifax today (all 20 envelopes worth!) and have submitted my 1st letter, which i found in the templates section. The [causing problems] gits owe me £1,911!!! Just dashed to the post office to send it by recorded delivery as well. Should i give them any leniency, with it being the holiday period and all? Any help would be great. I'll also keep you all updated. Hopefully, if this all works out, i'm gonna use the money to backpack around Europe...Im starting to think of this as a 'naughty boys savings account' now!
