  1. hello smifffy. Make sure you read as much as you on here if this is your first time claiming. I found halifax a little bit of a push over if you stick at 'em, you just have to stand your ground...It was quite exciting waiting for a reply back from them idiots. you'll probably find that too... Good luck Eric
  2. hello, im sure i will sea-sidelady... eric
  3. Hello moderator, could you change the title of my thread please, Bank charges settled in full on 16/03/07 **£2325.40** They stupidly calculated what they was giving me in there own letter saying 1884.00 of just charges plus interst and the fee for court of 120.00. Which they calculated to 1884+120=2004.00 But the total is 1884+(321.40 of interest)+120 which equals to more obviously... And there supposed to be the bank hahaha  ....---Big Result Though---.... Eric (eartois2709) woods v halifax vbrep_register("652862")

  7. hello, needing a little question answered if poss'. when i log in to money claim on line with my details there is a piece inside the judgement section that gives me the option to choose 1 or the other...they are... ""The defendant has not filed an admission or defence to my claim (Judgment by Default) You will need to decide, how and when you want the defendant to pay. You can ask for the Judgment to be paid by instalment or in one payment."" and ""The defendant admits that all the money is owed (Judgment by Admission) If the defendant has given a new address on the form of admission to which correspondence should be sent, update the defendant's details within the following Judgment request."" sounds daft and self explanitory but whats this? when do i fill this in? if at all? please help thanks eric
  8. Hello people, Just a little update on my second account. Halifax have been given notice by the online claims court. They have not replied as yet. Also they have been given the option to accept taking the bank charges, partially accept the charges, refuse point blank totally or ask for more time to defend them selves!...They have 14 days in which to respond now... Its looking good as it feels like i have backed them into the corner of no return. Keep you all posted Eric

  11. Hello Doo tide and others, Joint account settled in full on 12/02/07 **awaiting £358** after i phoned them up saying i was very unhappy and bemused as to how it was slightly shy of the full amount. She cheekily tried to say they dont have to pay the full ammount. I was still very unhappy and she went to ask her manager who aggreed to pay in full ....---Result---.... Other account still pending judgment Eric
  12. hey people hows tricks? Tide....Ive not included contractual interst on both my claims. Ive read up on it quite a bit and dont fancy pushing to that extent, not sure i can at this stage anyway. The small claim goes back 2 and a half yrs and big one goes back six yrs. Doo....I'll give them a ring in the morn' to push them up to the full ammount on my small claim. Their bound to say yes and send out another acceptance form. Eric

  14. Hello, Just a little update, im doing two bank account claims and ive had two offers through off halifax. The joint acc' claim is for £340 and ive been offered £310 or there abouts......i think i'll take them up on that as i dont its worth taking it much further with moneyclaim etc etc The other acc' claim is over £2000 and ive been offered £1050. This evidently i wont be taken them up on, so ive started a claim with moneyclaim...more waiting but its all good so far haha Eric
