  1. Thanks for the reply After speaking to the customer service people on Saturday if the same make/model of phone is returned 3 times then on the 4th time I will be given the option of getting another of different make. See what happens now I guess.....
  2. Hello I'm after some advice.... I upgraded my phone at the start of decemeber to the N97Mini and over the christmas period he developed a high pitch squeel whenever the screen was on and during calls. So I took it back in Jan when I was back at work and it was sent off for repair. Two weeks later it was returned the same problem occured So it went back into repair one week later it was returned and the problem occured Took it back in for the 3rd time and I was given a replacement of the same model got it home and this had the same issue with the squeel So the next day I took it back in and was told it had to be sent off for repair. I phoned Customer Services and explained the situation and told that I have lost faith in the phone and dont want and would like a different make, they have said that the engineers have repaired the phone and it down to them to decide if I get a new one. The store have phoned to say my phone is ready for collection, I've told them that I dont want it as I have lost faith it, only to be told that I need to into the shop and they would need to send the phone off again for the enginners to make a decision. Am I within my rights to ask for another phone or to be released from my contract. Dont see why I should be locked in for a phone which I can use. Thanks Dan
  3. I know - I've sent them a leter so lets see what happens. I really cant understand while they wont split the payments over a few months, if I'm willing to pay it..... oh well.
  4. Thanks for the replies - Will send them a letter tomorrow. The thing that really bugs me was that I was only £50 overdrawn to start with.
  5. As other people have said Watchdog - Or even What Car, they seem to get results
  6. Hi There Not sure if this is the right section but here goes..... At the weekend I went to check on my bank statement to plan to plan for the rest of the month now all the bills had been paid. I knew that I had some charges for going overdrawn but I didnt expect £140!!!! I called Alliance and Leicester and spoke to customer services and was told the fee is £5 a day for each day, which is NOT capped. I expained that I cant afford that the charge in one go and asked if it can divided over two months, to which she replied: 'No - once the charges have been raised nothing can be done' All I can do is to put a note on the account to say you are unhappy with the charges..... Are they allowed to do this? Is it too late to claim back the charges due to the court case?
  7. Hi there Not sure if this is the right place but..... Can I claim charges back for late payments on my credit card? I setup a standing order for a set amount to be paid on my card and left it as that so I didnt have to worry about it. It was set up for about a year or so, thought I would get my statement only to find my money had been clearing my account a day after the payment was due and I was being hammerd late payment charges. The thing is I was never notifed by Halifax about my payments being late, and nothing is noticed on my credit record about it.
