  1. Repayment plan it is then, borrowing cash not so smart move. Thanks for the advice.
  2. I used to be with Tesco for my Land Line, I set up a DD to pay they did not collect. The bill is about £500 I have switch suppliers and the debt has been passed to first revenue assurance. I wanted some advice on what to put in a letter to them to set up some kind of repayment £1 a month or so, or if there is anyway of writing off the debt as I have great difficulty paying.
  3. Thank you both for the info, Dave your thread is an exellent read. Cheers Bluuemoney
  4. Does anybody have any experience or info on these people ?
  5. Nice bit of interest. I want to know how they get the interest worked out, do the ever put it in writing ? yeah it should support the credit card ppi claim.
  6. So another update, they have now dipped into the money they paid me which cleared my overdraught to in the last few days make 2 payments to my credit card bill. Even though I telephoned and they where written to by the Citizens Advice folks telling them I was unemployed and offering to pay a nominal reduced amount a month they agreed to this on the phone and said I'd get a letter. No letter but in the last 10 days they have taken £80 after I paid the nominal fee plus added late charges, they have left £5 in my account, good thing I squirrled out some before they took the lot. The Credit Cards are also in the PPI dance, they delayed the payment so that they could have some fun with the rest of the accounts I have with them. I want to pay my bills. They must love fighting with me
  7. An update, so the FOS told me to contact Lloyds again, so after another telephone call they agreed to look into it again, I got the premium refunded a few days before Christmas, but not the interest. More letters for me to write but good news anyway. Happy new year to everyone on the forum, keep up the fight in the new year. Bluuemoney
  8. Wow double, how did that happen. Anyway telephoned the FOS who are now dealing with the case, how long to you think this will take ?
  9. Thanks Fury, You've fired me up again I'll post a letter to them tomorrow, I dont know what the flat rate was. But they are taking the P*** I'm too trusting. Thanks Bluuemoney
  10. Hi, Yeah they put it in writing, but not the full amount the wording and figure well the wording is "we agree to refund the premium of £100.01 (not real figure)plus interest accrued as a result of this figure". So not £100.01 plus £50 charge for credit . £150.01 x 18.8%APR over so many years They dont say what % they will calculate by, am I right in thinking it should be by the 18.8APR on the original loan agreement. They have not given a final figure. I also said why dont you just send me a cheque, they very quickly said no no no.
  11. Got a letter from LLoyds a month ago, they agreed to pay back my Loan Insurance money. Signed the form and posted it back. I've telephoned and spoken to the person in charge three times, who keeps saying the money will be in my account soon, but a few days short of a month nothing.:-? What should I do.
