Was just this minute about to file on-line at moneyclaim, then spotted this.. does anyone think this is an isolated case, the judge could be trying to set a precident but i doubt it, im going to press ahead with my claim and see what happens. As was mentioned there will most likely be an appeal which would force the bank to reveal is charging structure in court, my guess for what it`s worth is that it won`t, as any bank revealing it`s corporate structure with regards to `charges` (penalties) would open it`s self up to the other banks and put itself at a massive disadvantage.That`s what iv`e been lead to believe anyway... What do you think??? Comments on this development would be very useful!!

Hi, I sent my prelim letter to my branch... it turns out that all lloyds correspondence is intercepted?!! Just sent my LBA today to the branch as well.. seems that its all sorted and sent to the right dept!!

Thanks very much for that... seeing that the overdraft interest is really only in the few quid bracket prob best to leave it?! Thanks again, in for a penny, in for a pound (well, 1564 pounds to be exact!!) Ill keep you posted, LBA going tomorrow morning registered mail..!!

I have this morning received my bank charge statements from lloyds. The amount is 1564 pounds, I do not know wether or not to include the "account charges" obviously i have included the over draft excess fee`s. The account charges are 10 pounds a time, do you include these? Some help would be appriciated.. hope you can help, thanks! (sorry my pound key wont work).

Hi all, finally decided to sue Lloyds! 40 day demand for my charges run-down sent on 8/3/07.. they have until 17/4/07... so far nothing back! I sent the letter 1st class but did not record it.. (i know now i should have).. my wife and i (3 children) are facing possible homelessness anytime after the 28th april..hse we rent has been sold from under us... No-where to go... i really need this to work we are both worried sick! I know i can get help in my action against lloyds here if i need it! Nice to be here!
