Just to let you my friend went to court yesterday for a directions hearing and the court HAS decided to let it go ahead to a Full hearing date to be advised. There was a Barrister and soliciter from the other side but she also took her husband(a soliciter)and counsel, and from what she says evrything they argued was argued back in the same eloquent manner that it was given and on the same level.Unfortunately unless you are able to speak the same language as their representatives I dont think any of us stands a chance, thats why we will DEFINATELY be taking counsel advice ,because unfortunately although we are given good advice on this site its not the same.

The Avengers replied to :Boy:'s topic in Mortgage companies
Hi Boy I have just been dealing with a Guy called Briad who runs the Mortgage Mediation service,he helps in cases like yours to mediate a settlement if you need him give him a call is really nice really helpful and takes a load off your shoulders as he does all the work.Talking to the lenders going to court on your behalf etc etc. Thought this might be helpful,he is also lobbying for the removal of ERC charges. -
NOT SURE IF ANYONE HAS SEEN THE ARTICLE IN EXPRESS TODAY ENTITLED END OF ROAD FOR RIP-OFF HOME-LOAN EXIT CHARGE. States city watchdog is finally taking action against the mortgage lenders who have profiteered from the fees they charge. Really good long article FSA has given them until Feb 28th to put their house in order and stated that they WILL have to pay backpayments to ex customers for over charging admin costs.Again it states that these charges (like the banks) have to be reasonable and in proportion to their actual costs. It states that the watchdog will be seeking justification from the lenders on their costs. The FSA is suggesting a fixed fee. IT SEEMS THAT WE ARE GETTING SOMEWHERE,ANY ADVICE NEEDED THE FSA has asked that customers contact them and to make any complaints to them if the mortgage company hasnt responded. HOPE THIS HELPS

Fighting Fund For Mortgage Erc Recovery

Hi We are willing to co-ordinate,an instant website costs very little as it only needs a page and a way to communicate via emial etc,We feel APaypal account will cost us loads,we originally used it for our business and we lost more in payments to them than we made.We now use Nochex a British based paypal as it were and the costs have been halfed. Also there is Protx which is also cheaper. We do feel that if we find a solicitor first they can hold money, they are also officers of the court so hopefully can be trusted and there will be no costs.!!! We are happy to co-ordinate this ,if everyone is happy, and we are happy to ask other meber to help with IT bit,we just need sugeestions for a domain name to co-ordinate this. Please get back to us. -
