  1. right guys im suing the water company for stealing my water and selling it back to me.... i collected water from god during the last down pour and unfortunately my water butt which i bought during a specail offer from the water company leaked and it all went down the drain. however the water company told me if i want it back i got to turn on my tap to refill it but i will be charged.. can they do this and can i sue them for theft and selling me unfit goods...............

Hi im looking for legal advice here now as im on the last straw with Insurance firm IBUYECO, i had a policy which i cancelled after the cooling of period as i became dissatisfied with there regime of charges and bollox really, my main point is that when i changed address the advisor on the phone never informed us that the policy cost had risen and i never recieved a letter either.. the only time i recieved any thing was when i stood up to them abouth there £25 admin fee!! i got a letter saying the charge had been wavied etc etc and only extra cost was the extra premium.... i questioned that as well and the compnay wrote back saying very sorry for not telling you it was a training mistake by the advisor blah blah blah i have a recording of the actual call made (provided by them) and also a letter saying sorry they never told me . is that enough to challenge them for breech of contract... other wise im stuck with £135 cancelation charge which ive also disputed but got no where... basically told me pay it or we take it off you. help..
  3. well just had a call from toucan and they are admitting full liability to the problems they have caused which is a start and have assured me they will removed credit markers from file.... belive it when i see it. do you think i should still sue...?
  4. this is going to be my biggest battle so far and i intent to win it. lets start the thread. in the beginning (2005 august time) i contacted toucan regarding services they could provide i.e broadband telephone... but never agreed to sign up to any products from them. but within weeks it emerged that the advisor did sign me up! so i rang to cancel and was told i was within the cancellation limit and every thing would be ok. telephone package cancelled but broadband did not. so i ran again and stressed i had been frauduently signed up and want it cancelled. advisor told me that was fine and it cancelled but they continued to chase me for 11 quid after 9 had already been re credited to the account. i continued to complain and eventually got called back from an advisor to say my account had been re credited and was now closed. 2007 ocober..... find out by chance when applying for a mortgage that credit rating was crap. checked file and relised toucan had registered over 20 missed payment reminders on the account for 11 quid that supposedly had been recredited. now i cant get my new house and im threatening them with legal action.... also recording every call that i now make with toucan.... it really frightens there advisors lol...... im pushing to have all markers removed from my credit account, account closed with letter of apology and im now instructing a litigation solicitor to sue toucan for undue stress on my self and my girlfriend.
  5. as a previous employee of npower my experience is that it can take upto a month to obtain relevant paperwork. turn your bill over and get number for customer relation dept, they are monitored by the Regulator and have a vastly more experience background and also they have more powers on accounts than the basic call centre idiot or manager. steve
  6. hi there, i used to work for "CON" Power. if you can prove that you dont owe BG the money which im sure you can my personl advice is to let BG enter your property and when they do restrain the employee and ring the police as he is entering your propery under a "false" warrant of execution (or other words breaking and entering) as the money owed is not your problem, oncompletion of this issue british gas with a claim via a solicior for damages and other things you want to claim of them. trust me npower used to do it all the time. its drastic but one customer of them did it and well basically got a few quid steve

  8. claimin money for my girlfriend from lloydstsb and if successful i will start a whole loads of claims. lloydstsb £140 (not much but its my money) sent first letter asking for money and told to sod off. sent LBA, no response what shall i do shall i resend a copy of lba again outlining i have had no response. steve
  9. my girlfriend uses lloydstsb as a holding bank for her Halifax loan repayment basically pays £235 in and £231 comes out as a Direct Debit, thats all the account is used for as she banks her salary with HBOS. however she fell behind by one month on her credit card with lloydstb and they took a payment from her account to cover her min payment with them selves, this has happened twice , one in august one in december and as a result her loan payment has failed to come out on 4 attempts 2 trys in october 2 trys in DEC as she does not uses the account she never checked her statements until halifax rang and wernt amused. can lloydstsb do this "legally" or do they have to contact the customer?

  12. my g/f canceled her contract in march on the 3 network however they continued to bill her for a further 3 months taking at least one dd past the agreed termination date, they then turned around and said she never canceled her phone and when she spoke to the very english people in India about 4-5 times they just fobbed her off and never noted her account, after she canceled her dd in may after realizing that 3 were still collecting money they then went and passed her details to dca and credit ref agencies which really screwed her up. 3-4 letters later to Glasgow still no luck and also 1x complaint to information commissioner for withheld DATA Protection info after sar request. ............. wollah ............ obtained details from companies house website of directors of the Hutchinson 3g group.... and stumbled across one guy who lives quite close to our home address. sent letter to home address via special delivery and within 10 days received letter from 3 mobile executive office 2 sided long been very sorry and giving offering full write off of debt and offering £40 credit refund and amending credit ref file. any one else got problems with 3 as ive got some very usefull address and contact numbers in england now
  13. hi there, i worked for npower for over 1 year dealing with meters and accounts, they claim there is a charge of 60 pounds but they only levvy that charge if the meter is actually ok and 9/10 they dont charge. the gas meter belongs to transco and the npower advisor is only a 3rd party however transco wont deal direct with customers any more so unfortunately your stuck with ringing npower if you still have no luck write to the customer complaints dept on the back of the bill and they will get things moving quickly . i would strongly advise leaving npower as they are very very bad.. trust me i left as i didnt want any thing to do with them mind you britsish gas aint too clever either.
