Yeah soory haven,t been on much, my kids got all the sims for xmas and now i can,t get on my own pc!!! and when they are not on it my hubby is on his counterstrike. getting a bit of a nightmare with them so have had to allocate time slots! lol will keep you updated. am on to my other accounts now recieved statements from them just after xmas.so gonna be a busy start to the new year. lou:D:D

letter going out today so would be grateful for any advice on this. i am not sure what to do with this. if i except the gogw then i am actually losing £350 off my original claim, but if i want to include the charges that are due to go out jan 07 then i would have to start over i think. maybe the best option would be except the gogw for the charges and decline the offer off not taking charges in jan. sorry if that sounds a bit upside down but they have confused me now!!!! lou:confused:

Many thanks Karnevil another question. i actually recieved a letter from SHabby this morning as follows:- Dear XXXX and XXXX Thank you for letter dated XX november bla bla bla, I,m sorry you are unhappy with the charges and i understand you would like these refunded, Altough the charges were correct, as a gesture of goodwill i am happy to refund XXX which includes charges not yet obtained from your account. these are charges that i haven,t claimed for so how do i reject them or accept them??? so they have refunded a small amount of my claim as gogw but also added on the charges that will be going on my account in Jan. Do i accept this as part payment and still go for the rest that i have claimed for? crafty move eh. oh confused! thks lou:D

Oh i will be keeping a very close eye on SHabby. can,t see it going to court until after xmas so after the 14 days are up gona start proceedings and sit back and enjoy xmas!!! lou:D:D

HI, no nothing from them yet at all. sent my lba off to them yesterday so they now have 14 days to cough up or its off to court i go. ive heard loads of people getting gogw but not me (ahh!!) am expecting them to take it all the way. think have upset them anyway as i have just moved all my savings from them and just in process of moving my mortgage elsewhere too! i don,t think they should have the benefit of my custom as they are being so stubborn.lol will keep you updated. good luck lou:D:D

thks again lula, this is what i had done. worked out interest spreadsheet and saved to file etc. thought i was all organised, have done it all proper to the time limits letters etc. then started reading through other threads and put doubts on myself. now i know i have it right i can just send it off tomorrow and relax. am really grateful to all the help on this site couldn,t do it without you guys. many thks lou:D:D

Hi all, I am about to post off my LBA to the SHabby (after postie been tomorrow) Ive been reading through other threads and think ive confused myself!! when sending off my LBA what interest rate do i work it out as 8% or 16.9% also is this to be sent out now with the LBA or do i wait for the matter to proceed in the court direction. I have my letter to send plus another copy of my spreadsheet with the charges just need to be clear so as not to make any mistakes. any help gratefully recieved. thks lou:D:D

Yeah SHabbey seem to try different tactics with different people. Am not too bothered if they come up GOGW or not gonna take them to the cleaners and get everything back from them. I have alot of things invested with SHabbey so will get the last laugh when i move it all to a new account. lou:D:D

Hi Sowerby, Sheena is a little sweetie really, she seems to be the only one who does anything to help. well the SHabbey have until tomorrow to give me my cash back (not expecting much there though!!!) hi some help if possible. after recieveing my sod off letter from mark "windup" i just want to know. do i now wait for the 8th dec until i send my lba? also on the lba letter its states "i calculate they owe me XXXXX plus XXXX which you have charged me in overdraft interest" is this the 8% that i can add on? think am having a bit of a braindead moment so any help would be gratefully recieved. lou:D:D

am on it now. am also doing all the rest capital one, my natwest business bank account and an old credit card. now ive got the bug and understand what im doing going to take them all on. did you send your lba before your 14 days were up for your first letter (ie when you recieved your "sod off" letter from marc windup??

well done you!!! all i have got this week is a "sod off " letter from marc winder telling me they will contact me in 4 weeks. pity the claim will be going to court by that day!! bring it on. lets hope they send me one!! lou:D

yeah am waiting for them to do that to me i have a 1750 o/d but if they want it back let them have it, i am claiming 2450.00 in fees so if nothing else it will clear my o/d. what concerns me is that they are doing this to their regular customers. if they get funny with me am gonna move my mortgage, insurances and everything else. two can play their game!!! will keep you updated. lou:D:D

hi i have started a similar thing with the abbey. sent off S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) recieved 14mths statements and a letter saying the rest had been microfiched and would be sent out shortly. recieved everything JUST within the 40 days. did my spreadsheet for reclaiming my charges and sent it with the first letter requesting repayment. i recieved a letter from the complaints dept telling me they would look into it and get back to me in 4 weeks! this is a known thing with the shabbey to stall but phoned them today and told them they could take 4 weeks to reply if they wanted but they only have until the 10th of december to refund all my charges or i would be sending them the 2nd letter which will give them another 14 days then there will be no further contact i would just start proceedings with the courts also claiming the interest. all of this i have done in my name even though it is a joint account. but i did make sure all letters regarding our account were detailing both account holders names. i did get my hubby to sign the first letter to reclaim charges though just to be on the safe side. now its just a waiting game!!! hope this helps if not go onto the SHabbey forum there are so many people to help you through it. good luck lou:D

hi all first may i wish everyone all the best luck for the march today. i wish i could be there but have too many responsiblities at home. well i recieved my letter from our little gnome today (marc windup!!!) as per everyone elses. dear bla bla, thank for your complaint bla bla bla, we will contact you in 4 weeks bla bla bla. so phoned them and told them they could take 4 weeks to reply but if i don,t have my refund by the 22nd of december i will be proceeding with court action. have sent my prelim letter last friday which runs out 8th dec or 11th if you go by the recieveing date for them. so bring it on shabbey!! quick question do i send off the second letter and just proceed with the court or do i wait until the 14 days for this letter is up before i proceed. all the best lou:D:D

Morn, make you chukle really. they know we are gonna get it in the end!! if you phone the number now when you get the list of options you also get "if you would like to discuss fees and interest!!" do you think its getting to them. keep fighting. all the best luck. mine has got 7 days until the first letter,s times up. lou:D
