Thanks for your help! I have no sympathy for this bank that has taken money from me when I was at my poorest and couldn't afford my rent/food. I only hope a website that shoots landlords is next.

Thanks for replying! It took me two days to work out what letter to send! Has anyone lost on a technicality? I haven't seen a losing thread yet...It appears the game is up for the banks yet they merrily continue the unlawful charges. Can't they be forced into court? Or is it that once they pay up the full claim they're off the hook? If someone made an extravagant claim that was disputable and tempted them into court would the whole thing be thrown out or would a ruling on the charges be forced at the same time thus setting precedent? Ideally everyone should be reimbursed automatically as the worst victims are usually the least able to defend themselves...

Hi just sent DPA SAR letter today....they have 40 days to comply....Great site but I couldn't navigate my way out of a paper bag so apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place...Just wondered if anyone had previously used one of the many companies springing up offering to reclaim on your behalf? They seem to reclaim a fair bit for themselves......but if you're lazy and/or incompetent might it be worthwhile?!
