I know it is bad but i havent dared open my mail so i accept i am completely in the wrong in doing that and its reached this stage. Any help much appreciated!

  3. Hi, I have just submitted my claim but have forgotten to include a request for payment by cheque. Is there anyway to amend this?
  4. Hi! Thanks for your reply, i dont have any statements for my CC it is now closed so will have to apply for them. BSO told me the o/s balance was £1650 but my limit was £1000 so im assuming the extra £650 was late charges and interest, can i ask for this to be deducted off the total? i have paid £780 back so far...
  5. Hello I am about to send my 14 day letter before action but want to stipulate that i want payment by cheque if possible. I dont trust Halifax to pay into my cashcard account as they took £680 without warning to pay towards an old CC debt the day after they had my 1st letter asking for the cashcard account charges back. I had to borrow money to live on just before Christmas, not very nice! Is is possible to ask for it via cheque, how do i incorporate it into my letter or if necessary MCOL? By the way i am now paying Blair Scott and Oliver £50 a month though cashcard account towards outstanding cc debt so am paying this off responsibly now.
  6. Hi thankyou for those replies, i have applied for a Cashminder account over the phone (Friday 23rd), im hoping it wont take too long to set up! I didnt think of going for the CC charges although i think ill wait to move my main income to another bank Thanks
  7. Hi all, I am pretty desperate for some advice. I wrote to Halifax requesting £201 bank charges from my Cardcash account back and received a standard 'Sorry to hear you are unhappy...hear from us in 4 weeks' letter on the 22nd November. My payday was the 23rd November and a day later on the Friday night i noticed to my horror £688 cash had been taken from my CardCash account! I rang the callcentre in a right state and was given Retail Bank Collections number who informed me it was to pay off my existing £1600 Credit Card debt (the limit is £1000 so charges have been incurred to the tune of £600) which i had defaulted on. The lady said this couldnt be refunded (fair enough this is my fault) and advised me to call back in a few days to agree a repayment plan on the remaining £960 or so. I checked my account Wednesday of this week and another £20 had been taken! I rang last night and agreed a short term (3-6 month) repayment of £50 a month starting on 23rd December and they said no more money would be taken from my bank account but im uneasy about this- i have had to borrow £700 from my boyfriend to live and get through Christmas etc. The problem is do i continue my claim for my £201 bank charges as i owe them money on my CC- i dont want them taking the £960 after my next payday! Help!!!
  8. Hi all, I am pretty desperate for some advice. I emailed Halifax on the 20th November requesting £201 bank charges from my Cardcash account to be paid back. I received a standard 'Sorry to hear you are unhappy...hear from us in 4 weeks' letter a couple of days after on the 22nd November. Payday arrived on the 23rd and in the evening i noticed to my horror £688 cash had been taken from my CardCash account, i only get paid £996 a month! I rang the callcentre in a right state and was given the Retail Bank Collections number who informed me it was to pay off my existing £1600 Credit Card debt which is with Halifax also (the limit is £1000 so charges have been incurred to the tune of £600) which i had defaulted on. The lady said this couldnt be refunded (fair enough this is my fault for burying my head in the sand) and advised me to call back in a few days to agree a repayment plan on the remaining £960 or so.
