  3. i requested payment from barclays for about £650 back in the summer! they offered me £150 + a letter to sign ( full and final settlement!) i have been very ill untill now and wonder if the offer still stands? or should i reply stating i request the full amount or court action will follow??? seems like an age ago when i got their letter!!
  4. thanks but i have been on this site for some time , just needed to push myself into taking action!
  5. sent first letter (std) 30 March, i keep all my statements so that part was easy! Just 14 days to wait!!!!!!
  6. that's just what i was thinking. why tell them where i have moved my account to!! 8)
  7. i seem to have the same problem here? when i look back at my statements, if you have gone over your O/D limit they put on a charge (£20>) each month interest is added - yes? if you claim the charge back, this must alter the amount of interest charged? this must be claimed back also - if the charge was not added then there would have been no interest? so they refund the charge (£20>) and keep any interest they charged! unless you go to court? am i looking at this right? Q forget the 8%, what about the interest on your account?
  8. as luck would have it, i do have another bank account! just in case any charges are refunded, i should ask for any refunds to be paid into my new account! or should i just ask for a cheque - (cheque from a bank!!!)
  9. my business failed and i have a PG they now are asking for, which is more than i can pay. i have not yet looked at claiming back charges, i think there is quite a lot could be claimed here but my personal account is with the same bank! (no one ever said keep your personal account in another bank! ) Q; if i put in a claim on my personal account they may attack me on my business account(PG) puts me in an odd situation??????????
  10. sorry i must be thick, i read the FAQ's often just not taken it all in!
  11. just reading my statements, i see these paid referral fee's (£25.00) and they do mount up! can these be claimed back?
