  1. I'm about to issue a MCOL for three bank accounts, one for myself, one for my fiance and one for our joint account. The total of the charges for all 3 accounts comes to less than 1K. 1) How lkely are HSBC to defend or settle before court? I have 2 kids under 6 and some wonderful health problems myself, along with getting married in 10weeks...going to court is one stress I can do without. 2) Can I lump the three claims together with MCOL and only pay one fee? TIA Yvette
  2. Hi, I am claiming against HSBC for three seperate accounts at present. I sent them the prelim letter and they replied, but with a very vaugue, we'll look into it type of reply. I'm about to send LBA do I wait and see if they come up with the goods after their "investigation" or do I just send the LBA and ignore the wishy washy letter they sent? (They sent about 5 letters for the three accounts(?!) all reading the same and all promising a leaflet that wasn't even in the envelope!) TIA Yvette
  3. Thanks so much for your help Good Luck with yours too!! Yvette
  4. What about more than one claim for separate accounts? For example, my partner has a current account in his name, then we have a joint current account and I have a current account in my name, all three accounts have charges on them. But it will mean that both of us are making two claims at once. Does that make sense?
  5. Hi, I am about to start claiming back over £1000 worth of bank charges from HSBC. However I just want to know, has anyone had their HSBC bank account closed or asked to pay their overdraft back? TIA Yvette
  6. I have 461 pounds without interest on a joint account I have 88 pounds without interest on an account in my name And my fiance has 314 pouns without interest on the account in his name I'm just in the process of adding the interest on the complex spreadsheet for each account
  7. Hello folks. This is my first post to this forum, although I have been lurking and reading for a while. My partner and I have three accounts with the HSBC and are planning on claiming all our money back. Its not as massive as some I've read about on here, and probably totals around 1k - but we're getting married next July so it will come in handy! Is it best to send the claims one at a time after each one is settled, or all three together (as separate claims obv.)? TIA Yvette
