  2. First of all apologies for the agro sounding title! Highly annoyed with Brighton Council at the moment. A bit of background - brighton has a ridiculous parking permit scheme where you have to prove your a resident via council tax, tenancy agreement, etc and then pay extra to park outside your front door. Tax on car ownership or what?! Despite paying this ridiculous fee I parked the car roughly two months ago one street away in a space against a wall.   3. Car had been there 5 minutes as I was collecting paperwork from the office: The ticket was not in the envelope and was practically thrown onto the windscreen. The photograph they took had me in the car Is this a valid ticket?
  4. cheers for the advice mate, i sent a letter on thursday and recieved a reply today. they will not pay the remaining 190.90 that they owe me and i have no marks against my credit rating. i have sent a further letter explaining the legal contraventions and have threatened them with court.
  5. Hello Early last year I started using Paypal to buy stuff online. At the time i did not know about unpaid direct debit fees and went overdrawn. The charge incurred caused me to go overdrawn many more times as i was not informed of these charges. In december i wrote to them and recieved under half back as a partial refund however i was just reading the info about bank charges on the moneysavingexpert website and noticed the legality of the situation and that i should not have declined their offer. i never replied to their letter that i recieved. do you believe it would be possib
