Hi, I have just read some more threads of people just starting out and i realise i am not alone in feeling so confused and dumb!! I think i am going to get some sleep and start again, my problem along with many others is that i read to far ahead and my brain goes all mushy Hopefull tomorrow or maybe later today i will feel more upbeat and get my head in gear with all this. I will apologise now for all my stupid questions that i irritate everyone with. Please be patient with me, it's the drugs ( prescibed ) and not me! Hi Bonnie, Thanks for the link, i have just read it and i agree we all do need to take this more seriously. I think people are hoping it will be really easy cash for little work and/or commitment. I love coming in to the forum and reading all the post's but i think with Abbey it does seem a lot harder and to be honest i have been really ill (i seem to spend most of my time in hospital) and the medication i am on has really messed my head up (just look at my spelling!!) I dont think i can do this:sad: the spread sheets just frazzle me so god know's what i will be like trying so sort the court bundle out. I dont have the confidence for this:(

HELP......... I am in the process of claiming from Abbey and i have just heard that someones case actually went to court and was thrown out! The Judge apparently said 'you knew of the charges, case dissmissed' Has anyone else heard of this and if so do you have more details? I am hoping this is rubbish and not true as it will set a precedance for future claims! Oh how i hope i am wrong. Ron x

Hi All, I am in a bit of a spot. I have 4 Current Accounts with Abbey and i want to claim my charges back on all of them. I have all my statement's and am in the process of going through them My query is, do i have to claim for each one seperately or can i combine them in one case? Also does it matter that i received my statements in oct 2006 but due to ill health i have only now been well enough to proceed? Hope some body can advise me. Please Cheers Sharon:wink:

Thanks Alan, I have also copied your ' Data protection act disclosure request which i am sending today. I think i will enclose a letter also about the postal order. Thanks again the advice is sound. Even though i am a novice and it all does sound really complicated, I am not letting these buggers get away will it!!

Hi, I did not think they would refuse a postal order but when i rang the lady said they dont accept them nor cash...! how crazy is that. If i re-type the form and put the 40 day rule on it will that mean i have lost my previous 20 days ????????? thats what i am fed up about. Has anyone else had there postal orders refused?

Hi, Recieved the letter from the famous Pam Speed.......! about the micrfiche. Not to worried as i expected that one. But i have been told Abbey will not accept the 10 postal order!! so i now have another DPA form from Abbey with a request to debit the 10 from my account. I am worried that my 40 days will not start untill now and i have lost 20 days. Please help i want to get my 2nd letter out today, But i dont know if i need to start again..............!!!! Hi All, Just printed off my first letter to Abbey. Even though i feel a little anxious i feel quite excited! Abbey has really screwed me for to long now and i am ready to take on the challenge! but i must say after reading most of the postings i dont think for one minute this is going to be easy.
