  1. Hello, Just wondering if anyone can hep with this. I was in Oxford last night and parked in a Council Car Park, When entering the car park there was a barrier in place, that lifted and i parked up, but forgot to put a park and display ticket in the car, as i am so used to getting a ticket at the barrer as 95% of these types of car parks are in Swindon, So the Barrier in Oxford made me think that i didnt need a ticket and i could pay on my way out. Anyway on getting back to the car i find a fine for £100 or £50 if i pay within 14 days, but they have not issued me with a PCN number or a offence date (but i do have a date on the green ticket), or a little piece of white strip paper with any of the above details on, so is this ticket still lawful?? I do hope not
  2. Hello to all, So far I have found all the answers for the questions I have had, expect for this one. I am claiming for about £1900.00 Barclays have offered me £1300.00 for a settlement, I phoned them to see if they would up there offer and would of been happy for £1500.00, if they would of offered it. But the lady I spoke to was so horrible and said either accept it or decline it. I am now doing my rejection letter to Baclays, With the letter that they have sent, they have asked me to sign to say that I accept the offer. Do I sign this and send this with the rejection letter saying I accept this offer but only a part payment, or do I just send off the rejection letter off by its self. I have read the 18 pages of Q&A's I am a little confused over this bit. Please help if you know the answer Thanks
  3. Hi I have sent of my 1st letter to Barclays bank asking for my charges back. The 2nd letter is due to be sent on the 14th of this month. Barclays have sent me a letter to say they are sorry to hear about my concenrs Blah,Blah but they have also said they will have an answer or an update as quickly as possible, but no later than 22nd March 2007. Does any one think that I should send of my 2nd letter with the bank charges again or should I wait until 22nd March for their answer or update. I feel that maybe i should wait until 22nd March just to see what they say or offer. Has anyone had the same type of letter from Barclays??
  4. Its great that you have sent a letter, but you do ned to work out exactly what they owe you. you need your bank statments and then work out from there how much it is. Send a list of all your costs on the Spreedsheet to how much you require back, with the 2nd letter.
  5. Hello, I have just had my statements thought from my bank and i have worked out all the charges that they have given me over the past few years, i am just wondering if i need to send off the 8% intrest amount as well, I have used the simple spreedsheet and it has added the 8% amount along side what i have have put in. I really want to get this right, before i post it to them with a silly mistake in it. Please advice Many Thanks Little Pink Lady
