Lisa, they sent me the same letter offering me a "gesture of goodwill" I refused and completed the "rejection of settlement offer" just receeived a letter back from them saying basically, thats it I am not getting a penny from them, so I have just completed the MCOL. Hopefully this will work, stick to your guns.

Great news, well done, how long & at what point in the claiming process did they pay up?

How long after completing the MCOL do they have to hopefully settle? Any ideas please.

Hi just received the exact same letter this morning, so I have no completed the MCOL. Fingers crossed they will settle, otherwise I will be panicking.

Hi all, After taking the advice posted on this site I have today received an offer of ( £158 in full & final settlement) of the £458 I am claiming for unfair bank charges over the last 6yrs from the Halifax. They have been pretty good in sending me the last 6yrs bank stats and answering my initial LPA letter within 14days of my requests. What do I do? Don't want to let them get away with it but don't want to loose out on this amount either. Which letter do I send next if I don't accept this offer. Any advice would be appreciated.
