  1. Firstly, there is no way you need to use a solicitors for this, all the information you need to succeed with this claim you will find here. Reject their offer with one of the following letters, then proceed with the next stage of your claim. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/25716-rejecting-offers.html
  2. Hi and welcome to the site, You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours. Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the Templates Library as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. This is a SELF HELP site and won’t do the work involved for you. However, everything you need is on here somewhere. Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required. Once you start the process of your claim remember to open a thread in the relative bank forum, this will enable you, and others helping you, to keep track of your claim. All the best in your claim!! 3. 0.85 per day The amount to enter here will be the the two totals for you Section 69 interest totals from the date of the first charge to the date you actually submit your claim through the court. The daily rate remains the same (0.85 per day)
  4. You now just need to wait for notification of your next step from the court, this may be the AQ but this is not always the case.
  5. The claim amount can be altered right up until the point of actually submitting your claim through the courts, so you can do one of two things, proceed with court action with your amended schedule, or, offer a further 7 days for them to respond to your updated schedule.
  6. Charges £xxx.xx = £3867 Overdraft Interest £xxx.xx = £65.84 Interest under s.69 County Courts Act 1984 £xxx.xx = £788.90 Court Fee £xx.xx = £120 TOTAL £ xx.xx = £4841.74

    natwest claim

What you need to remember is it's your claim so therefore it's you who decides the timescales, NOT the bank. It is fairly standard for the bank to state they have not received this or that, merely delaying tactics. You have sent both the Prelim letter and the LBA, both offering 14 days to respond. They have failed to do so in the manner expected so proceed with your claim and file through the courts.
