Can anyone help with some up to date Trigger figures. Please?? or a website would be preferable.
-
Have you considered contacting your mobile operator and seeing what help can they offer?? Is it coming from a set number?? Edit saw your vodafone ref ask if they can do more?? Report them to OFT for breach of "Physical/psychological harassment " See here http://www.actcredit.com/OFT-Debt-Collection-Guidance.pdf Section 2.6

Still waiting for a copy of our defence from the court which they said will be sent but that was a month ago, Heard nothing from the court or Minicredit other than a request from the court for us to sign a new AOS as they have "missplaced" the original. The AOS was sent to a company called Act Credit Management tho and not Minicredit. It seems they are a company that do legal stuff for small companies. http://www.actcredit.com/content/view/12/27/ Other than that all gone quiet atm.
-
Dont be fooled, some of these companies want you to default and then add a default charge, I also notice that continuing interest charges are not frozen. From experience my OHs card was cancelled (not reported stolen but lost) one company took 2 small amounts out of her bank account, resulting in charges.

If it goes to court you can request a transfer to your local CC at the AQ stage. -

They are not allowed to send doorstep collectors without making an appointment, you just dont agree any appointment. You should report them, and if they do turn up again it will be another nail in their coffin. -
Am looking forward to going to court, the judges are probably aching for a few of these to go to court, whatever the end result, I will trust the court to make a reasonable decision, sure we will end up paying something.. but that is what we have wanted to do all all along. How stupid1 passed the credit check lord alone knows, their criteria must be pants too.

I suppose by now MiniCredit have received our (stupid1s) defence. Coincidently after critisicing their online account in the defefence and the amount due being different to the amount claimed, it appears we are now unable to access the online account. Hmmn.

MiniCredit usually drop off in some way as they have from experience, and I intend to pursue these when we get to court, indeed the judge will be well interested.cant say to much on here atm cos MC have eyes and ears

Having received the court papers, a week ago I am today posting stupid1 (the original poster) defence, I have the full email trail and some interesting stuff to put before the court. Will let you know how things progress. @ sillygirl the defence is nothing to do with DNs more to do with things MC havnt done. I didnt mean to infer that was my line of defence, sorry for the confusion.
-
Interesting that when you get their website it asks you whether you would like to translate to English from Estonian and I think their servers are outside the uk too.
-
I personally have never read of them accepting a DMP in all the forums I have scoured. The case I am working on seems as if they cut communication let the debt build up to a tidy amount and then take you to court.
-
Where can I find out the correct procedure re receiving a court summons and whether a Default letter is required?? And what is "the advice slip"Ta
-
Just phoned them and they say there is no jurisdiction with regards to money claims??? They can apply to any court in the land

Delboy01 replied to Ubiquitious's topic in PayDay loans and Short Term loans - General
OH had a penny in her Natwest account, a pd company managed to draw 3 pounds somehow and send her 2.99 OD and accrued charges, NatWest couldnt explain how. We closed account and NW removed the charges. They did this with a cancelled card details, so beware. -
Payday Loan trouble - need help/advice **
Delboy01 replied to jk1961's topic in Payday Express/Wage advance/Cashtillpayday
Do not give them your new card details, I take it it is a new account?? Pester them regularly and point out that they are deliberately delaying payment. Ask them to send you a Paypal link if they have one. But beware of the amount to pay on the link, one company tried to sneak the full amount on the link.
