  1. Hey guys, look at babs thread !!! It's looking like a good Christmas so far for us all
  2. Yep, more than likely, but you WILL get it all back - see 'babs2000' thread !!
  3. Hey ALL, After reading Jimmy's blog above, just checked my own account - MONEY IN today WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sorry, will write more later, really busy at work at mo and boss on prowl !!!! Donation TBA
  4. Hey 'Teach' We do our best to entertain, nothing wrong with a 'bit of french' Clare, DON'T worry about a defence being submitted, it's only a delaying tactic, and they also know it 'may' make you panic and settle for less (when they offer) we all know you're strong and won't settle for any less than a full settlement. Steve x
  5. Hmmm - well done, I'll think about the 'bonus' LOL Try this one:- "Vous êtes l'amour de ma vie, maintenant et toujours"
  6. Hi, I've amended your suggested letter, which I think may be slightly better Thank you for your letter dated xx/xx/xx. In the abscence of a response to my previous letter within the time specified I have filed a claim in the County Court and have therefore incurred further costs. I am prepared to accept the sum offered only as part settlement and on the clear understanding that I will pursue recovery of the remainder, to include interest and costs incurred. I would however be willing to withdraw my claim upon receipt of a full settlement of my claim. I await your response within the next 7 days, and no further correspondence will be sent regarding this matter. Good luck, and keep your thread posted on the progress Steve
  7. Ah Ha - that's your task for today babes LOL I'll pop over and warm your cockles if you want
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a reply, it may or may not transpire !! You are best sending a letter again clearly staing that it is a revision because you ommitted the interest also due. As far as calculation of interest have a look at this link:- http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/182-6-interest-calculation-spreadsheets.html You will find a simple and advanced spreadsheet which when populated with your own data will calculate the interest for you. I would strongly suggest that you alos spend some time reading as much as you can in here, in particular:- http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/25457-user-guide-contacts-list.html Good luck !!
  9. ok ok - I'll be the 'odd' one out "trois dans un lit" is fine by me
  10. Hey mammie lattie - you've gained yet another little green square - CONGRATS - very well deserved !!
  11. Oh . . your certainly NOT alone, and any help (or hindrance LOL) is supplied freely and with our compliments !! Best of luck with your claim Jenny !!
  12. Hi ALL, Hey I hope I'm not No 3 in this gang !! I rang the court (the local one where my proceedings will be transferred to) asking the same question about filing the AQ and having received an offer !! The answer was:- "although it should be returned by the deadline date, don't worry if it is late !! when the date passes, your case will be passed to the clerk of the court who will issue a 7 day 'reminder' the good part is the defendant wil not be informed" - although any solicitor worth their salt would know this anyway So - the message to all in here is:- DON'T PANIC - you need to keep the pressure on to DG to get your money, but behind the scenes you get a 7 day 'grace' period and as long as you communicate to the court all will be well !!!!
  13. Try looking DG up on the web - there just might be another number !!
  14. Without Prejudice means that those documents 'cannot be used as evidence in a court' in case you decided to take things further in a court and press for action based on their request that they want it 'hushed up' You interest seems about right, £310 on a charge value of £1318 - Pharma rep why did you think that was a lot ??
  15. The courts work all days except public holidays, so . . they will be 'open' as usualy next week 27th - 29th Steve.
  16. I'm sure it will be soon, it's painful waiting (git that T shirt now) but you will be rejoicing soon !!
  17. Hi, Don't panic !! Try calling them on 0121 455 2701 or 0121 455 2111 you could also try a fax to 0121 455 2150 However hard it may be to find the £100, try telephoning the court (the one named in the Transfer of Proceedings papers and asking what is the absolute deadline for receipt !! Just a thought - I was told if I didn't submit my AQ by the deadline it will go before a judge who will request a 'reminder' in 7 days !!!
  18. Yep, that's the difficult part - can I suggest cards, domino's or cloud counting as useful pastimes !!

Hi Disco, The 'AQ' or Allocation Questionaire is basically a form that you fill in to allow the court service to decide what location and what type of court the hearing will be allocated to !! In reality it will be allocated to the nearest county court to where you live as the claim is below £5k it is quite straight forward to complete But as seems to be the 'norm' it is unlikely to get that far !!!!
  20. Never - I have a GF, 5 kids, 2 dogs, 3 hamsters, a huge mansion house to heat, my landrover the GF's Ferrari etc etc to fund !!!! (I can afford it all, it's the GF that costs an arm and a leg)
  21. Hey everyone, thank you ALL for my reputation points, I'm now 'informative' WAHEY !!! (didn't know I had a fan club, thank folks)
  22. HEYYYYYYY, Jimmy my man BL*ODY well done !!! So is that the fab four done and dusted now ???? Babs, Jimmy, Me and oh no - still Clare to go !!!! Come babes, get your finger out hun xxx
  23. Gosh, I've been called some things, never that one before - hmm now there's a thought I could get used to LOL Reality is I have a very flexible job !! In my case I had £3.5k at stake, so I can assure you it got my full attention for that amount of cash Good luck with yours !!!!
  24. Yep, you certainly WILL - just read my thread (and BABS) for proof, it takes time and a large helping of patience, but you WILL WIN
  25. No you haven't got anything to loose, and a lot to gain, it takes time, but believe me, I'm living proof (not by any means alone) that it really does work and you WILL get your money back !!!
