  3. Hi Well I have done everything I need to so far. Right up to Money claim on line. Sent off the signed letter to the court and waited for a court date. I have now received a letter from the court asking me to attend a preliminary hearing, "as special directions are needed in this claim to prepare for the final hearing, which the Judge would prefer to explain to me in person" Has anybody else had this? Does anyone know what it could mean? Thanks Missie
  4. Hi Mate If You Look In The Faq It Shows You Exactly What To Wite In Each Section Of The Questionaire. I Found It Extreamly Useful When I Completed Mine. Good Luck
  5. Hi I Returned My Questionaire To The Court Today, And They Confirmed That You Only Pay The £100 If The Amount Your Are Asking For From The Bank Is Over £1500. If It Is Less Then You Need Not Pay Any More Money. Missie
  6. You may have deleated the formula. Download another and start again, but remember to remove the lines you don't use as it will add them on to your total. Good Luck
  7. Well I received every bit of information regarding my mortgage right back to the first ever letter offering me the mortgage. Looking through the statements, I was charged interest each April and then again each December. I have calculated roughly £1200 in the dec interest charges that they owe me. Letter sent for the 1st refund of £1200. Lets see what they offer if any? __________________________________ BARCLAYS JOINT ACC = £390 BARCLAYS SINGLE ACC = £175
  8. Hi I have done the exact same thing, they told me that this is the norm. Today i received a call from RMA Resolve who are now dealing with the payments. i too have offered token payments which they have agreed for the next 3 months, where they will review the situation again. Keep your chin up. Have you heard anything else yet? Missie
  9. Hi I have looked all through and can not find anyone who has started a claim with AMEX? Can we claim the charges back from them? Would like clarification prior to starting DPA. Thanks Missie
  10. Hi I think if it was me, then I would miss a couple of the charges out on the largest claims on the spread sheet to keep it at the 5k mark, but don't forget you must not add the 8% to this at this stage. Good luck and keep us posted. Missie
  11. I was told by a colleague that the woolwich have recruited 30 staff to deal with this. She was told when she called them about her statements. Lets hope the rest follow suit and we get our just deserts back sooner. Missie.
  12. Well the 14 days would be up on the 14th and no suprise, I received a letter from Barclays today which I believe is the standard letter, saying they are sorry about the level of service and I will have an answer or update no later than the 9th May. So in two days I will be sending the 2nd letter. I am keeping to my dead-line. I have put two claims into Barclays for two seperate accounts, but the letter received does not tell me which account it is for? So I am taking it for the first letter sent, for the first account. -----------------------------------------------------------------
  13. Hi I have asked for mortgage statements for the last 12 years, and the letter I received was also from Sheena Small the DP Consultant, and my letter reads Please note that under the data protection act disclosure request, you will only receive the transactional information that is held on our systems. I regret that the DPA does not cover any prior transactional data that has been archived on to microfiche. However, in order to assisit you further and as a part of a general customer service, the microfiche records will be sent to you in due course. So if they can find my information
  14. Well I thought being I have nothing to lose, i may as well try and get something back. So I sent the DPA letter on 3/4/06 requesting the statements for the last 12 years along with the £10 cheque. Today I received a very polite letter from Abbey stating " From the information supplied by you arrangements have been made to search our files and systems for this data and our findings will be forwarded to you within the statutory 40-day period, which commenced on 4/4/06. Please note under the data protection act disclosure request, you will only receive the transactional information that
  15. Has any one requested the charges incurred on a mortgage? When I took out my mortgage with Abbey they set up the repayment, which was a standing order, when i went to them 10 years later to discuss my mortgage, I discovered that I still had 18 years to pay and not 15. When I questioned this, they said that because I was paying by S/O the payment did not clear till the 2-3rd day of the following month, and it was due on the last day of each month, therefore interest had acurred for the whole year. Rather than request the interest from me, they felt it better to add this to my mortgage. i had n
