Ok heres the deal. Asked for S.A.R.S it took 53 days to turn up and when it did there was an offer of 700.00 to settle! No pre-lim letter sent,no lba sent...........Now thats service for you. However they owe me the best part of 2k..............now thats sneaky for you!................lol.

So if someone is not doing there job they get fined,is this instead of vebal and writen warnings?I cant help feeling this is a crock of sh*t and one more reason why my blood presure aint what it used to be.

Heres a twist to the saga I recieved an offer this morning to settle,this is interesting. Ive not recieved any statments to my sars request. ive not even sent a pre-lim letter my name and address is on the offer The account no is wrong. W T H is going on?.

Still nothing from A and L. Is it ok for me to go staight to LBA now?.Ive got a reasonable idea of charges.and i could allways amend the total when the sars show up.In the meantime i could pen a few complaining letters off. I did send the request via recorded delivery but the royal mail shows the letter as leaving the sorting office for A and L but no signiture.

Thanks for the info blueskies,im still not sure about where i stand,dont worry this is my fault. I find after reading for hours on end that facts get mixed up and if your not use to to this type of work it all gets a bit much. Their seems to be about 6 types of interest alone,and then the spreadsheets need filling in. Is it possible just to try to get the charges back without the interest as this would suit my lack of ability regarding compound,contractual,overdraft interest etc,to me it may as well be written in Spanish. Anyway ta.

Hi everybody, Im a the stage now where im sending particulars of claim to mcol. Having read joni2bads step by step guide i fear i may have made a mess of my claim. I did send pre-lim letter with a schedule I did send L B A...........without a schedule I did NOT include any details of over draft charges or intrest with my schedule.just the basic charges,dates, and what they were for. Do i have to re send a schedule of charges and include the over draft intrest? Im sure ive read on other threads NOT to mention intrest untill the mcol stage. Hi,take the money but make sure you tell them its as part payment toward you getting a full refund of all your costs and charges. Have a really good look around the site Gillian,it can take days to get the jist of everything.There are loads of storys like yours on here.You are not alone.

Hi Icklepeach. Im not really having a problem as such, its that when you send your pre-lim letter the advice is not to include any intrest at this stage,but all the spread sheets ive seen in the template section have intrest colums to fill in. So i wondered if the practical thing to do was just fire a simple one of,with dates - reasons- ammounts etc and leave the spead sheets untill im ready for court. To be honest my maths and computer skills are not great,so making it as easy as possible for myself at every stage is the way to go for me.
