  1. Afternoon I need help woring the N1 form as I am claiming for 2 accounts, 1 in my name other joint account with hubby. Would really appreciate any help and advice out there. Cheers Elsie :-?
  2. Thanks for the phone number Ali, I will try them tomorrow and ask the same question. Are you still proceeding with contacting the comissioner? or are you going to wait the 3-4 days they've said? let me know when you get chance to reply cheers elsie
  3. I sent 2 letters asking for my info, but only received 1 confirming receipt of one £10 cheque, whereas, I had sent a cheque for £20 to cover both accounts. Nice to know you received the same letter, it does sound very standard and I will definitely continue tomorrow to contact the Commissioner. I was looking at their website, and there is a pdf form to complete. Thanks for quick reply. elsie
  4. I have received a letter on Saturday 17th March, "I refer to our previous correspondence ackowledging receipt of your request for details of charges and/or statements relating to your bank account(s). Within the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 we have 40 days in which to provide you with the information we hold. The end of this time period has almost been reached, however, due to the high volume of requests we have received in relation to this high profile issue, I regret that we are not yet able to provide you with the information requested. Whilst you are within your rights to refer the matter to the Infomation Commissioner at the end of the 40 day period, I can confirm that we shall provide you with the information as soon as we possibly can. I thank you for your continued patience and understanding in this matter. Yours sincerely T Rayner Advice Quality Unit - Charges section"" My question - is this a standard response and they are trying to delay proceedings? 40 days is up tomorrow wednesday 21st March, should I contact Information Comissioner or wait for them to forward the info. Any advice is much appreciated. Elsie
  5. Hello to everyone on CAG, I have sent off my first letter on 9th Feb for 2 bank acc/s and had 1 reply about 1 account, little confused as both acc/s are with same bank! The only contact info on the letter is an address, no phone number, should I be writing again to check if they've got the other letter or wait til 40 days are up and send no contact letter and contact comissionner? Any advice would be greatly received Elsie
