  3. Thank you so much, I really dont need this extra stress at the moment I have had enough hassle in the lat 6 months to last me a lifetime as we had a house fire in march and have been in constant battles with our insurance company and to top it off now this happens.
  4. thanks for all of your replies. I am just going to battle for the same shed. The reason it was reduced was becasue it was an ex display model but they can get the same shed still so i am going to badger them untill they give me one.
  5. this is the shed we brought for £999 Order Finnlife Jarvi Cabin. for home delivery at homebase.co.uk
  6. do you know if any laws exist to protect me against things like this. Is there anyone that could help me write a letter to homebase that i can take in there tomorrow to knock their socks off as im rubbish at writing letters
  7. The shed was on display at £999 saying ex display. we paid by switch card the receipt is just a normal homebase receipt for £999 for the shed
  8. the shed to buy new is £1700 and we can afford to pay the extra £700. At the end of the day £50 i think is not enough due to all the hassle we are now having and all i want is the shed or one similar and homebase wont offer us that.
  9. well here it goes. I went into homebase about 4 weeks ago and noticed a log cabin/shed for sale. It was reduced from £1700 to £999 as it was an ex display model. It already had a sold sign on it but the ticket said collection due june1 and it was over that then. I asked the customer services to put my name down just incase no-one collected it or for some reason no -one wanted it. I received a phone call from homebase last thursday asking if i was still intrested as the orginal person no-longer wanted it. I told them i was and my husband paid for it that evening and made arrangem
  10. 13 months ago i took out a loan with kenssington mortgages for £7700. I have made 13 payments on time for £110 each Today i received my settlement statement as I am planning on paying the loan off in the next couple of weeks and this is what it reads. amount payable over the remaining term: £32,587.20 early settelment rebate: £24,641.67 balance owing: £7945.53 redemption fee: £145 additional fees: £20 early settlement: £8110.53 I have asked them how this has occured and they have told me that they will send me a breakdown. If anyone could tell
  11. I have added up what has been charged since the last time I claimed and it comes to £635 I know that doesnt seem much but when you put it into perspective £635 in 8 months that is on average about £79 a month. I have been paying £96 on my managed loan the extra £79 a month could have been helping pay that off but instead it has gone straight into the banks pockets. Does anyone now if I should just write the normal template letter on my second claim or does anyone have a better alternative that wuld be more appropriate for a second claim with the bank. Thanks Lisa
  12. I am not using the account anymore as I have switched to halifax. All that is done with the account now is the managed loan is paid in through standing order and paid back out. The only thing that I am worried about is if they ask me to pay the managed loan off. Which is just over £7000 I have a really bad credit score and having the managed loan hasnt exactly helped it either. If HSBC where to close my accounts would they ask for the full amount of the managed loan? If so and I cant afford to pay it and have such a bad credit score that I cant get it transfered what do I do then?
  13. In March this year I had a succesful claim with hsbc for over £1000. I never had my account closed and carried on using it. In June I got married and we got ourselves into some financial difficulty and whilst on honeymoon a few cheques bounced which i was charged for. I couldnt afford to pay these sharges and explained this to the bank on the phone anyway in the last 6 months I have been charged at least £500. What I was wondering was has anyone attempted to claim twice on the same account? I know it sounds really cheeky but im not too sure what to do. HSBC have offered to restructure my
  14. yes that is correct the letter that i received on saturday has the same date on it as the day they acknowledged my claim.
  15. My Case Is Now Closed With An Excellant Outcome Thank You All For Your Help
