  1. I have a 6 year old son and my sister has residence of him, I want to move away to be nearer to them but it would mean that my husband would have to give up his job as it would be too far for him to travel each day. If we did move we would have to claim job seekers until my husband got another job but I need to know if DWP would treat the claim as a doubt because my husband gave his job up voluntarily.
  2. I got nothing from him because all he thought about was dossing on the dole.
  3. The child is 15 and I supported her for 10 years and got nothing from her father.
  4. My ex has put in a claim for child support from me, A court order was issued in 2003 which allowed him and his mother joint residence and parental responsible, I do not have residence or parental responsible, I don`t have any contact wirh them or the child. Is`nt it up to them to support the child, You should`nt need 3 adults to support a child. Please could someone tell me where I stand on this matter.
  5. Received a letter from Natwest today offering to pay up in full, They enclosed a form to sign and return to accept their offer. The problem is that they said once they receive the form back the money will be paid into the account which Natwest closed due to their charges, I won`t have access to this money unless Natwest re-opens the account which I dealt they would do. Should I send the form back signed with a letter asking for them to return the money by cheque. Or should I just send a letter reminding them that the account is closed and a cheque will be acceptable, Once they confirm payment will be made by cheque then send the form back signed.
  6. No, All funds from the account in credit was transfered to the overdrawn account, The BDWO charge was applied to the overdrawn account then both accounts were closed by natwest, However I dont think I should Claim back the £8.24 charge as I have just found a reply letter from a complaint I made to natwest and it states that the remainder was written off and both accounts closed.
  7. Oh I see now, It looks like they transfered all my funds from a savings account to pay the overedraft of my step account which was due to bankcharges, This left it at £8.24 Overdrawn then they charged a BDWO of £8.24 which has left the account £16.48 overdrawn.
  8. What Does that mean ? does it mean they have charged me because they had to closed my account
  9. I have finally received the rest of my statements, All charges add up to £635.24, There is a BDWO charge of £8.24 can anyone tell me what this charge is. Thanks
  10. I`ll have a look for to see if ICO has a website, Some people may think what happened to me was funny but it is really a joke gone too far
  11. I work at a factory as a cleaner, Everyone who works there needs to swipe a pass to get on & off site, The pass is issued by security staff and all your details which includes a photo (that is taken by security) is filed on computer and can only be accessed by security. The problem is a contractor who does`nt work for security had enlarged & printed my photo then placed it on top of a christmas tree for everyone to see, I took it straight to my manager. Can anyone tell me if security have broken the law, If so what can I do about it
  12. Please can anyone tell me what would be the best address to use to send my Data Protection Act Letter to Abbey National. Thanks.
  13. I received a letter back fron Alex Lyons office asking me what statements are missing, I told them in the letter I sent what statements have`nt arrived so they could`nt of read the letter properly, It now looks like recorded letter no 4 will have to be sent.
  14. NatWest done the same to me, I was overdrawn due to bank charges for returned direct debits, They transfered funds from my reserve accout into the step account and closed both accounts without my permission, I phoned them and they said we normally do this when a account has been overdrawn, I complained by letter which was a waste of time as their reply was mainly about letters they sent me asking for me to contact them about paying back the overdraft. I then done a internet search to see if I can find out the banking law and found this site, I then sent of my data protection act, Did`nt receive all my statements so sent another letter asking for the rest of them, I am now waiting for them so hopefully shortly I may be able to start the ball rolling. I would advise you do what tinkerbelle suggested, But make sure you send the S.A.R by recorded delivery as they could say they did`nt receive it. Please keep me posted how you get on.
