  3. LOL, I take it you've stocked up then don't think it's quite my colour tho, mines more of a multi tone natural look like we women like, it doesn't come cheap lol, i'll keep an eye out for the BOGOF offers tho Seriously tho, this forum does keep my spirits up, each time I read someone else has got their money back puts me on another high. I'll keep going and deal with the nervous twitch i've acquired when i've won xx
  4. Thank you very much, I have that one for current account, wasn't sure if it could be used for credit card accounts too xx
  5. Thanks again sorry I don't think I made myself very clear lol. I think your right, I'll have time to calm down over the weekend then set out my DPA non-compliance letter and post that off to them. xx
  6. Hi all, my friend and I are just trying to do a claim through moneyclaim for her Credit Card charges. We've come up against a problem cos it's asking for an address in England or Wales, we only have the address in Fife. Can anyone help thanks in advance xx
  7. hi and welcome moony, I'm quite new around here too and a little confuddled by it all. Everyone is so helpful tho and willing to give advice and support. Good luck with claiming back your charges xx
  8. Good on ya, ya little smartypants lol and good luck with claiming your charges back xx
  9. Hi and thanks for your reply, I did use the template letter from here. I'm a bit concerned about continuing without my statements tho, I really have absolutely no idea what the amount could be. I foolishly don't keep all my statements and after a year or so, I shread them. and I don't have online banking with them I've banked with them for about 20 years so I'd be applying for the whole 6 years of charges and just really wouldn't know where to start. I'm wondering if it might be an idea to call them Monday morning and ask what they're playing at. I'm usually too laid back for my own good but all this and getting messed about with other banks too is getting on my wick now and I'm feeling pushed to the edge and ready for all out war if needs be. I just don't want to cock things up :/ xx
  10. Hi, I don't think i've started a thread regarding this yet, so I thought I better had since i'm having a few problems with the YB. So far I've sent them a DPA request, got no reponse, I've received my statement today and the £10 I sent them for the DPA request was added to my account on 8th June as a payment into my account ? is that right ? At least I know they've received my request but it doesn't look like they're doing anything about it. What do I do now ? thanks in advance for any advice xx oppps sorry looks like I have posted previously here: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/yorkshire-bank/8728-yorkshire-bank.html could a mod please merge if they feel it neccessary, sorry for any inconvenience xx
  11. Just wanted to add something totally irrelivant to my case but thought it might interest some. I talked a friend into claiming her charges back too. she's had basically the same response has me from the halifax hers is a CC account tho. She received a letter from them on Friday saying that her card was just to expire and under the circumstances they have decided not to issue a new one :o :o barstewards grrrrrrr
  12. Hi all, received a reply to my LBA from the halifax today. basically it's a repeat of the first response they gave me, you knew the T&C when you applied for the account blah blah, we're not giving you your money if you have any further queries call our call centre. Well it looks like my next step is an application to the CC *gulp* I've read through it over and over again. I think the stress is stopping me digesting it all properly (thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it lol) Just one thing i need to clarify before proceeding, do I need to put in all the details of charges on the claim form i.e: date, 'offense' , amount chaged etc ! i'm not sure there will be enough room for me to do that if thats the case ? Also, in the details on here it says "the claimant" i assume i change that to "I" if there is no solicitor involved. Just another thing, can I claim damages for stress and hair dye ? cos all this is turning my hair grey :o LOL thanks in advance xx
  13. Respect stonelaughter xxx I do love a man that can admit when he's wrong LOL x
  14. Thanks jonni xx Well I've not heard anything from the bank yet with regards to being repaid my charges, I have however received a statement this morning with another £50 of charges added........arrrrgggghhh they're driving me nuts Not sure if I should start another claim now or wait till I hear from them about my first claim and see what happens if it goes to court. Ruddy halifax, i could swing for 'em
