  1. Thanks for the prompt response. I'll submit my claim accordingly. Cheers Amanda:)
  2. Hi i'm just about to submit my claim (2nd time around!) to my local court, can I just check, do certain local courts refuse to register new claims because of the OFT case? My last claim was via the net. Thanks again
  3. Thanks for the prompt response Lex, really appreciate it. Will submit my claim accordingly! Watch this potentially long space!!
  4. I've had what seems to be a bog standard letter basically stating about their legal issues with FSA and OFT la la la! I'm in a position to submit my claim to court but just to check.......from Mr Lex's earlier thread dated 5.10.08.....I submitted my previous claim via MCOL, should I now submit it via the local court?
  5. Thanks again for the excellent advice, sent my prem, just waiting in vain for those 14 days!!!
  6. PS i've already changed banks and am now going through my charges and ready to go for it again, not a big fan of banks!!
  7. Great thanks for the prompt response and reply. So once i've sent the LBA, my claim will sit at the court until further notice? Is that right?
  8. Hi all, after a period of 18 months, i'm back claiming again! I've already received a settlement from HSBC, do I need to go through the process from scratch or can I just sent my excel spreadsheet with charges and interest straight to the court procedure? Many thanks
  9. Hi Been following your thread with interest.....just had a negative letter from Halifax following my LBA......MCOL next! Already had success with HSBC last Xmas and after a little breather from it all, i'm back on track and I must say, since my settlement, these financial institutions seem to be taking things to the ultimate limit to avoid paying eh!!
  10. Hi Lynne Just read your thread re: Halifax Card. I've just received a negative response from them, I'm now in a position to apply for MCOL, it's a relatively small amount but hey! What stage are you at?
  11. Hi all I've been out of the loop for a few months and after my succesful claim against HSBC, I am now targetting a few other institutions! I need to send a prem letter to GE Money, are there any templates for these or shall I utilise the bank ones?:-| Thanks for your help
  12. Just in the process of submitting my first claim to RBOS.......can I use the letters from the templates, are they fairly generic for banks and credit cards? Thank you.
  13. Hi Chewy......HSBC credited my account even though I asked for a cheque. I think that's the norm. Check your account over the next couple of days. I've just opened another bank account because I've another claim to submit! Congrats too!
  14. Hi All Finally got my dosh!! HSBC credited my bank account day before the AQ was due! Hurrahhh!!! With the AQ application looming plus some devasting news about a family member, times were tough! I would like to thank everyone who's helped me through this, it was invaluable advice plus gave me the confidence to see this through, well worth the hard work! Going to make my donation now;) . Will be keeping tabs on other claims with interest. Got another claim to make against HSBC, watch this space!!
  15. Hi Shorty I'm at the same stage as yourself, my AQ is due on the 7th Jan, however I've had an offer from DG which I've accepted and awaiting my well earned dosh!
