Hi Peeps, First load of statements arrived today. April 2004 to present, I understand this is normal and pre-2004 statements come in a different post ?? (please can someone confirm??) My postie wondered what the hell was happening as they sent 16 (16!!) envelopes with a couple of pages in each (no wonder they need our money to pay they stamp bill Will wade through them tonight and hopefully the rest will be here tomorrow. Hi again, finally got some progress(?)... Got an acknowledgement of my request from Halifax. (on day 39!!) Statements to follow, I will give them till start of next week then wade in...... Good luck people Adbru

Some progress at last !! Day 39 (I think!!), got a letter today from a "Ken Patton" Data protection consultant-business risk (retail) in Halifax. Thanks for my letter, copies of the statements will be sent under seperate cover. "With regard to your request of information relating to manual intervention on your account, HBOS plc is under no statutory obligation to record this information and therefore, I am unable to assist further with your request" should you have any further blah blah blah...... So.... waiting for the postie again ;-)

Hi Michaela, I am in a similar timescale, maybe a couple of days ahead.. Still heard nothing, went into local branch last week and they said they would chase it up. Looks like a non-compliance letter will be going out at start of next week. You never know, maybe the postie will have something for me tomorrow if they are trying to cut it fine good luck and keep in touch Adbru

Hi Folks, Any idea of the average time it takes Hbos to send your statements out when requested ?? Reason I ask is we are going on holiday in 2 weeks time and would rather be around when they arrive , (dont want the postie to hurt his back carrying them ) many thanks Adbru

I intend to tackle my joint HBOS account first, I have read that you can claim 5 years in Scotland and 6 in England but others are talking about going back further ??
