  1. Hiya I sent very polite letters just asking for the difference to £12 and said they would be aware of my DMP and their cooperation would greatly help me repay my debts. All have paid the difference and still on 0% DMP so its win win. basically dont be aggresive and just say the FSA recommends £12 charges would they pay the difference (if you're happy with that)
  2. thank you thank you thank you!! Incidently should I tell the court now I've settled or wait til they actually pay up???!
  3. Had a chat with hubbie and decided to accept offer. was getting stressed about going to court and this means I can pay £2000 overdraft off and have some money left for a sofa and a holiday!!! Thanks so so much for all your help. As soon as I have money I will donate! Maria
  4. sorry another question. On this letter natwst are making out as though they will be granted a Stay on my court case. However, having spoken to the court I know this is not the case. Is it worth me phoning natwest to say I have spoken to court and would they consider increasing offer (I ave a figure in mind I would accept) how likely is it they will increase it?
  5. hi again. had an offer this morning for £3945. letter dated 3 Aug and says I have 60 days to respond....now could I go to court on 31st as planned but if I loose then accept this offer as it will still be valid???!
  6. thank you so much. you've been such a great help. I will def be giving my 5% if I win!!!!!
  7. Hedgy - ps. its Trowbridge county court
  8. got my court bundle printed (my little £20 printer keeling over in corner now!!) but of course I dont have T&Cs. where can i get these???? will I have to ask Natwest for them?? My court date is 31st aug so need bundle in by 17th at latest....really stressed now!!!
  9. thanks guys and have the banks still allowed you to continue with your plans (ie. they havent put interest etc back on?)
  10. ps. need to start my bundle. please can someone post me the link to the guidance as I cant seem to fins it. thanks so mucn
  11. Hi guys. I have 5 or 6 credit cards on a debt management plan. All banks have frozen interest and charges but I wondered whether I should still try to claim back my charges (or the difference to £12) or whether this migyht trigger a retaliation by the banks - ie. they start charging interest and late payments again, demand full payments etc. what do you think as I think if successful it would reduce my debts quite considerably (but not totally unfortunately).
  12. called court today who said that all hearings go ahead and no "stays" will be granted!! I am so relieved as its almost certain natwest wont turn up on that day - espeacially with the OFT case - so fingers crossed!!!
  13. Hi guys. I have 5 or 6 credit cards on a debt management plan. I'm posting here as Abbey is one of my credit card companies. Thanks
  14. hiya - given the latest news re: OFT court case how will i be informed if judge out a "stay" on my case? will i get a letter before or will he tell me at the hearing itself? cant believe might have gone through all this for nothing!!!
  15. hiya - do you think its a good sign that judge has only allocated 15 mins for my hearing???! Ie is he anticipating bank now turning up and therefore me winning????!!
