HSBC have just said they will refund all charges, totalling £274, but not interest. They are "mindful of the management time and irrecoverable legal costs" of any court action and will make payment in full and final settlement of the matter. Get writing!!

I wrote to my branch asking for the fees I've been charged. A lady from the branch rang up to say it would cost me £10 Is this right?
